What Steeler Fans are saying...

Their ILBs are slow. They should be a liability in coverage against anyone in our offense.

If this is true, we're having a field day against their defense.

Like I said when I learned the Ravens linebackers were weak, Norv Turner will exploit that and go ham like he did against the Bengals. His best work comes from going against teams with weaker linebackers overall. He's very very good at misdirection and forcing linebackers out of position.

I really hope the guy talking about our weak schedule is a Steeler scout.  that guy has absolutely no clue about this team

  • Week 1 is always tough versus any team, but the Cowboys defense is not half bad. We obviously got their best shot. It didn’t help our offense that the stadium was easy 40% filled with opposing fans, something Heinz Field will never understand.
  • Week 2 we played an Atlanta team that was still largely intact before all their devastating injuries, oh and we played them in THEIR house. We also didn’t play our best game in any phase. Not an easy row to hoe.
  • Week 3 we played a division-leading, red-hot Cincinnati team that was on a fast start. We won.
  • Week 4 we played a desperate 1-3 Giants team trying to save their season, with another poor showing by Panther fans. The Panthers were still finding their mojo and even jumped out to a comfortable lead, but gave it up and had to rely on luck and a gigantic kicking leg to pull through.
  • Week 6 we completely shot ourselves in both feet and an arm for good measure. And STILL almost beat the Redskins had it not been for a blatant missed call by the refs in the closing moments.
  • Week 7 we messed around for 3 quarters, keeping it close but not quite breaking through. Score was 10-0, but the Eagles scored again at the end of the 3rd and suddenly the Panthers faced the prospect of 3-3. It must’ve scared the poo out of them, cus we willed ourselves to win against the defending Champs in THEIR house.
  • Week 8 we welcome the #1 defense statistically to our house and we absolutely trash them. The game is never in doubt.
  • Week 9 we welcome the #1 offense statistically to our house and like the week before, we absolutely trash them. As the #1 offense is prone to do against prevent defense, they made it a game towards the end but we still finished with a 2 score lead.

Mr. Steelers idiot should at least take a glance at our schedule before he stuffs his fungus-infected foot into his mouth.

Pretty similar. You should at least have one of them on the field, even in nickel. And both in base 3-4. Bostic is smaller, but isn’t covering CMC or Olsen. Williams is a run-stopper. And many times Dupree or TJ Watt drop in coverage leaving another potential mismatch.

They will play a ton of zone. And drop the DL on zone blitz. Gotta watch that on shallow crossers. Also have issues at CB2 that can be exploited.

Their team is a pretty good team, a perennial winner,..

What else would you think their fans would be saying?  They wouldn't be talking like the Browns or Lions or something,...

You get the rah rah homer fans, the negative nilly fans, and the ones who have the dumbass disease,.. which is probably most of us,... ha

“They allow the least pressure in the NFL.”

Can we make it 3 weeks in a row where we change a narrative of a top ranked statistic? Hope so!

They run so many quick slants and bubble screens, it’s tough to have an effect on those. DL needs to keep those hands up and tip a couple. Usually when they give up sacks, its because Ben held it way too long.

I agree but interesting that many talking heads do not also consider the Panthers are a "Perennial Winner"

Steelers are 3-4 in the playoffs since 2013 with trips there in 4 of the past 5 years and 4 straight.

in the same time frame we have an identical 3-4 record in the playoffs, with a SB appearance and have also reached the playoffs in 4 of the last 5 years.  In the leagues toughest division.
