What is David Tepper Thinking This Morning?

Tepper is a businessman.  And business people do not make rash judgements based on emotions.  Emotional decision are short sighted  and often based on what people want to see rather than the facts.

If he’s a good owner, he takes the long approach, let’s peolle do their jobs and evaluates the body of work, not one game.  This is what the Steelers have done for decades and they are consistent as hell.

The Panthers looked like a team that traveled for a Thursday night game and looked tired. There was no fight and energy. Once those 2 plays gave momentum to the Steelers, it was all down hill from there. Even CMC struggled with Blitz pick ups so nobody had a good night. If anything, we learned that teams are now going to blitz us more and we need to be prepared. Still think we'll win the next 4 straight leading to MNF against the Saints.

The team you just purchased lost historically bad to your former franchise on prime time. What are you feeling?

feeling like there's work to be done...he doesn't seem to be a self entitled pie in the sky so being realistic , lets get back to work and get better...

eh, he's probably thinking "you win some you lose some"

Literally everything that could go wrong last night went wrong. Aside from basically giving them 21 points right off the bat, every single call/spot went against Carolina. The offensive line played their worst game of the season by far. The defense played their worst game of the season by far.

Historically visiting teams in TNF matchups struggle. It's just usually the home team is sloppy as well, but that wasn't the case last night obviously.

Throw away the game tape. It's a loss to a team likely to make it to the AFC championship at least.

6-3.

CJ Anderson was not utilized and that's on either Rivera or Norv. You can't pick up the blitz, put him in. They ran so many stunts and now teams now how to get past us.
