Not Panther related

But Im sure the NFL is really loving this right now

Guess the field conditions down in Mexico city pretty bad

NFL finally get a good monday night game after some terrible matchups this year.........and in another country which you know they have a huge boner for.  Then this happens

Yeah, I saw that too. Was pondering posting that myself.

Players refusing to play a game because of field conditions could definitely have some big time repercussions.

This is a big game too

Look at The Prime Time Monday night games thus far

SF vs NY- both teams will be drafting in the top 4 this year

Dallas vs Tennessee

Bills vs Patriots

Giants vs Falcons

SF vs GB

Saints vs the Redskins

Chiefs vs Broncos- was a good matchup

Steelers vs Bucs

Seahawks vs the Bears

Jets vs Lions

Raiders vs Rams

Zero games featuring 2 playoff caliber Teams

Now you get 2 out of the best 3 teams in the league matching up and the players threatening to not play due to the field conditions

I wouldn't blame them for not being willing to play on that surface. I saw a picture yesterday of it and it looked like a train wreck. I guess they are putting sod down today per PFT. My understanding is that sod takes a couple of weeks to meld. What an embarrassing poopshow.

I still remember Dan Morgan shattering his leg here on that pooshow of a field Jerry had vs Greenbay

Could you imagine Gurley or Mahomes going down with a major leg injury there.  Talk about a black eye on the NFL

meh, guys in the league have played on worse. Some will probably play on worse this season.

but yeah, if Mexico is gonna hold freaking concerts on the field days before the game?  You don't need to work with them anymore.

I remember that. I want to say the turf in our stadium has gotten a little past worrisome a couple of times but can't remember all the times. There was a college game and/or soccer game late in the year where it was bad after and at least once during the regular season where it was just crap. Purely memory, work sucks lol. I don't think JR cared much. Hell, we still practice in a lobby when it's really bad weather. Can't wait for Tepper to nix that BS.

If I was a Rams or Chiefs fan, I would be mad as hell at even the thought. Both of those teams are real contenders. Fug loosing talent to win a game in the regular season when they are almost locked in to the postseason.

So what happens if one or both teams will not field a full team for this game? No idea if the NFL can save this situation but they can't make players play. Losing a game check to save a career is worth it in my eyes. I wouldn't want Cam out there that is for sure.
