If you don't fire Ron Rivera, nothing will change.  His ability to hamstring a team is unmatched.  That's priority #1.

Sure. Because most coaches that win 2/3rds their games and makes the playoffs 4 out of 5 years are accused of hamstringing their teams.

The more you know. Hmmmm....

This is a prime example of blaming the coach because the other team came to play as well. This kind of attitude is created by combining the miraculous results of the 2015 regular season with way too heavy a dose of playing Madden.

Real football has more nailbiter wins than blowouts. Real professional football means that even a bad team busts someone's nose once in a while. Real football has 23-20 as the most common final score.

Real football is that if your coach gets you into the playoffs four out of five seasons, takes you to the Superb Owl and is always a contender for the title in the toughest division in football (by a loooong stretch), then you have got a keeper for a Head Coach. Rivera coaches winning teams, his guys are ready to compete and no one looks at us on their schedule each season and goes ahead and pencils in a win for themselves.

If you don't like it, there are 30 other professional football teams and the Oakland Raiders out there to choose from.

Ok, guy.  We'll have to completely and unequivocally disagree.  When this poo happens again, and it absolutely will, I suspect you'll eventually get tired of defending Rivera for failing to put his team in a position to succeed and getting completely outcoached.  Also, I haven't played Madden in almost a decade.  Do your thing, though.

But, the coach keeps winning. When will you get tired of dregging up the same poo season after season?

What poo? We lost a game. Oh no, the sky, she is a falling. And I am willing to bet we just may lose another game sometime in the future.

How much more success do you need? Fug it. You don't need any more success. You need to grow a pair. 5 Coaches have more wins than Rivera over the last 5 years. If that is not enough winning. You really do need to come back down here to earth. And quit living in whatever cloud you currently inhabit.

I always thought winning was the most important thing. Evidently, I am missing something. Cuz there are a poo ton of Panther fans who just cannot be happy. It must be something in that NC water.

    • Not many people talking about DT, but we have a need.  (DE)  Now this guy is a NT like Brown III
    • But is it about letting Bryce develop or about winning games? Bryce has not been good enough to be an uncontested starter. He just hasn't. How many times has last drive Bryce shown up for 4 entire quarters? Once in 3 seasons? You aren't going to win 9 or 10 one score games every season year in and year out. You may want Bryce in the last 2 minutes. I want that Bryce the full 60.  No one is saying you have to give up on him, but bringing in another QB that can do anything is not hindering Bryce. It helps the team and that's where the focus needs to be. If drafting Sadiq to plague the middle of the field would help out offense, but Bryce struggles to get pass into the middle of the field, is Sadiq a bad pick? Or could he be a good pick with a better option at QB? We can't be afraid to improve. QB, TE, OL, LB, DL, CB, S. It doesn't matter. The goal is SBs, not 5 to 8 years seeing waiting to see if Bryce can develop while the rest of the league keeps passing us by.  Sadiq is a nice option, but I think we have to address tackle if one we like is there because we are painfully thin after this year, a LB to general the field, and a true ball hawking safety that can set the tone in the secondary. Those 3 positions are bigger game changers than a TE that will likely struggle to make a round 1 impact in this offense.
    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
