I say the same thing about cmc. Nothing backhanded about it.He is a rare white runningback. Not sure why saying he's white is racist or backhanded. Im sure why your talking about a black person somewhere your like that black guy.... That isn't racist or an insult.

I think it’s natural to tip toe around race and pretend stereotypes and in this case rarities don’t exist just because of the color of ones skin.   He’s saying this with respect and is not slighting anyone based on race.

Good for him for being honest about his thoughts.

its obvious weve never seen a White RB play at CMCs level

look at the stats and position tendacies

its ok to see whats right in front of you. playing blind doesnt make you a better person

Only if it's done it one direction.

"Look at that black qb going through his progressions and running a complex pro offense.  Never seen a black qb like that!" =End of the frigging world. Good thing for this guy some are more equal than others.

This implies lack of mental capacity which tips the scales . Slays comments are specific to physical attributes about a running style.

I understand your point but IMO there is a difference.  Just my .02

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
