Ol' Mick Mixon might've spilled the beans...

"...sources told Channel 9 the team is looking to build a new indoor practice facility in Fort Mill or Rock Hill and could buy the land as early next year.
Business offices would then move from Bank of America Stadium to South Carolina."

And the price of land just went up. Hey Mick Mixon...

Meh, I doubt it'll change too much. If Dave is this far into it, there's probably been some level of agreement whether there are signed contracts or not

Fair point.

Still, I can't see Tepper as the type of guy who likes his employees spilling the beans.

He touched on it -- not sure if you've seen it -- in Pittsburgh. He said "I would be very surprised if we weren't practicing indoors within a year" with the specific understanding that that's happening in SC. Still I didn't know we'd then be based in Fort Mill

dear god i can't imagine how terrible Fort Mill's traffic is going to be furthermore if we get a practice facility near us. It's already atrocious with Kingsley.

Love the Panthers, but traffic has been an absolute nightmare lately. Hopefully it's built at the old Knights stadium location (most logical place imo) so it wouldn't be as huge of a nightmare, but still. Very much will say Fort Mill's quite congested as it is with all the development happening lately.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
