Exactly... some people have obviously never held a leadership role in their lives...

Rivera knows his situation... he is incredibly well compensated, but he faces pressure most people simply don't... and coaches know that going in...

Tepper is not going to disrespect Rivera just to placate some goober typing on his keyboard

End Thread. That’s all that needed to be said. Well done.

What plans? You can’t even talk to anyone else?

It hilarious how many of the same people( not you) who constantly bitch about Gettleman not giving reach-arounds to players he cuts, but we should send Rivera packing like he is 1-11. And throw poo at him on his way out.

We'd at least be consistent.  Ron gutlessly sat back as the best player (pre-Cam and Luke) and reciever this franchise ever had was unceremoniously released and as Gettleman completely blew a season before it started by letting his ego takeover negotiations with Norman and subsequently released him.

Not to mention how Ron rode Cam into the ground because he lacks any and all creativity and possibly ruined our generational talent at QB.  Ron has constantly shirked any responsbility when it comes to his team's underperformance during his tenure and shifted blame to any and everyone else but him and his friends (aka staff), and he has publicly embarrassed and sold out the one player he owes all of his success to in Cam.  Ron is a gutless coward.  He doesn't deserve any respect.  He has wasted another year of our fandom and another year of our best players' primes.  Good riddance.

ron rivera has repeatedly got angry at journalists for asking tough questions

how can you even consider yourself a head coach if you can't take things on the chin when the going gets tough

that shows no leadership whatsoever, especially when he throws his own players under the bus

Nearly every coach at every level gets overly defensive about tough questions. Whoever we bring in will be the same in that regard, I can guarantee you that

We can hold on to him as long as possible out of the remaining 4 games, but he will still be a terible coach and nothing will change that.

I recall you debating with me earlier in the season, vouching that Ron was on equal footing with the likes of Tomlin...  well, i hadn't got a chance to revisit that convo with you since we got pur ass busted in Pittsburgh by none other than Tomlin.

If you can't accept that he's a subpar coach by now, then I don't know what to tell you.

Let’s do it. So you can find I was comparing records and double standards. You think Tomlin hasn’t had seasons like this? I want him gone as much as anyone. But there is no logical reason to do it now.

Bump or bring up whatever you want. I was either right or wrong. And I’ll be the first to state it either way. Don’t talk about it. Do it..

And what about me wanting him fired after the season means I think he’s a good coach. Why don’t you get your stories straight. I just see no point in firing him now.

I know he can't really say what he actually believes in this situation, but come on, Kalil. This is completely on the clueless head coach.

Aren't we one of the oldest teams in the league? What younger guys need to be coached up by older players? Funchess? Is that it? And why is it up to the older players to coach them anyway? Are the coaches not doing their job? Why is there a lack of discipline? Isn't that the coaches job to install on the team?

All they said basically still points to a coaching problem.

He knows he's done.

I honestly hope Tepper goes ahead and pulls the plug. We know it's coming. What's the point in waiting? What are we gonna do, lose some games? LOL! We're already doing that.

The point of waiting is because discussions usually aren’t had with prospects during the season anyways as they’re busy coaching other teams.

But I think Rivera most certainly should be leashed and the lame duck process should start now. Example; pulling the starters would be something he won’t do which should be done especially/at least Cam.

But at the same time I have no problems with a statement move letting Norv have 4 games before cleaning house.

There it is. He cut my luvees and wasted my fandom. That’s special. Hallmark special. Lifetime special. Did he take your “wind” and “power”.  Or are you on your moon cycle.

So we need to fire Rivera now to appease all the internet deeebs who have no life outside of this board. Roll with that. I’ll wait for Tepper to act like a professional. Which he will.

My "stories" are straight.  I don't have to bump it, I just accurately summarized it.  And I was just revisiting it because I stated Tomlin was a far superior coach, you argued they were comparable, and then a few weeks later Tomlin beat the absolute dog poo out of us lol.

That being said, I appreciate you owning it, but I only brought it up because up until this reply, i hadn't saw you state anywhere that you wanted Ron gone.  In fact, judging from the tone of your posts, which were almost always defending Ron, I assumed you thought he was a good coach and that you wanted him here...  so, this reply was illuminating for me.

I agree, waiting until the end of the season is the respectable, classy, and reasonable thing to do.  It's what most franchises do...  but this has been a festering problem for years, and requires immediate action.  I would usually cast my vote for waiting until the end of the season, but Ron's had enough time and undue goodwill cast his way.  He's a few years overdue for his walking papers.

Lol, juvenile.  People are internet dweebs with no life for wanting Ron gone after years wasted, yet you consistently keep getting in your feelings taking up your shield for Ron's honor.  Irony so thick, it could make Beyonce jealous.
