Newsflash: Clark can be absolutely part of the blame for getting blown up and still also have blame for other players on the same play. Two people can screw up on the same play. I know, I know, what an odd thing to say. But it can happen. 

For example, like the entire game the entire Panthers defensive line has just gotten zero pressure. That's on all of them.

Yeah Cam should have eyes on the back of his head. Stop being an idiot. Cam does make some mistakes, but you're not pointing to any. Go back to your hole.

And as i said last week when we made it clear that Cam couldn't throw that far by subbing Heinicke again...  it confirmed Cam's shoulder is severely injured...  and once we confirmed it, and so publicly, it allows defenses to play us differently.  They don't have to play over top, or worry about double moves, or the deep routes in certain route combos because they know Cam can't hit the deeper throw.  This staff is so fuging stupid.

The season is over, you already destroyed our franchise QB's arm and turned it into fuging Ken Dorsey's arm so he's forced to check down every pass.  And now, Rivera failed this season to the point that if he wants to keep his job (which he shouldn't regardless of our final record), and if he has any hope of winning any game, he has to play Cam.  But, the defenses know he's hurt and can't throw it deep, so they can be extra aggressive.  What a fuging poo storm.  Again, i can't overstate how kuch I fuging hate Rivera.

Our offense is looking pretty good. I don’t think it’s too far a stretch to compare it to the offense of the rams or chiefs in that it’s explosive and can put up big points. However....that defense man. Our D is a garbage fire right now.

The same issues that have hurt the Panthers defensively continued to be an issue in the first half with head coach Ron Rivera calling the plays. The Browns were 3-for-4 on third down and would have been 4-for-4 had Rashard Higgins not dropped what likely would have been a touchdown around the Carolina 5. The Panthers continued to give up big passes over the top. The lack of a pass rush plays a part on all of this .No sacks in the first half. The good news Cam Newton and the offense have been efficient enough to make it 17-17.

cam is 15/20 for 185 yards

nothing in THIS game is on cam

      Why trading up in 2026 is a bad idea.

      It puts more pressure on being right, I always feel trading back is the move 97/100 times. There are times where you fall in love and if that guy is only 7 spots away and the cost is only a 6th or pick swap......why not?? so long the cost is low, Im more willing to do so.  Still one of the best teams at trading back and they torn apart the Panthers on those trades; Pats. You still have to pick the players, that's what happens. In theory you should also add picks, but it does get to point of eight 3rd rounders or two late 1st and a 2nd?? I mean every draft is different, so the talent maybe not fall off a cliff after pick 50. Case by case deal, but vastly I prefer to trade back.....another curve if you trade back and the scouts/coaches have not planned for it. You have to be ready and know the spot you are trading too (everyone). Just like trading out of 1st round two weeks before the draft, that hurts your team as they have been focused on pick 10 and now its wait until pick 42....

      2026 Mock Drafts

      IDK, just I know these mock drafts are time "wasters" and even more before FA cause that does change a huge portion of the needs. I think Panthers are in on Lloyd, but just like Milton Williams if the numbers get too high they will change course and still sign one of the lesser ILB. I've also seen reports Panthers want boom back as well, but as STer/backup.   Personally Ive put Wallance in the Ickey, Brooks zone....... Acting like he's not on the team and if he shows out during OTAs, mini, and TC GREEEAT!!! I feel Panthers need to sign at least one and draft 1-2....hell even add another Bam-like UDFA in the UD pool too. Trade is on the table, there have been many trades than past years......   Given the team history, the LB corp is saddest ever. Still the league isnt paying ILB and Panthers finally got with that trend. I do feel Evero wants a IBL that can blitz and everyone wants one able to pass cover.  I feel no matter what, Panthers will draft one in the mid rounds and add a couple in the UDFA class.
