Gettleman had a few good ideas like dumping vets who were falling apart, but he was overridden by JR the pervert. So even the good idea he had went against us because of JR. We're wrecked. We cut Matt and the dead cap money will further wreck this team. One foot Greg and slow as fug TD. We're just in so much trouble.

TD is not slow he is still outrunning & out-covering  these so called young studs.

And yet, when he was GM we went to the playoffs 4 out of 5 years. Sorry, but trying to blame DG for this season is just plain stupid. Yes, he got Kalil but he also drafted Moton and Williams. Did he know that Manhertz would throw Lawrence into Williams? We had two solid  Ts to start the season. God forbid he didn’t draft McCaffery.

This season is totally on Ron and Ganope.

You can't make the connection between Gettleman's mistakes and our current team? Why can't you understand? Never mind believe what you want.

TD is still fine.  I honestly don't know what Olsen is gonna do, but I'd like him to give it another season, but that foot is starting to remind me of big men's in the NBA...  once they go, they're gone.  Regardless, if healthy, even though old, they're both still really good players.  They aren't hurting us.

The lack of hits throughout the draft during his tenure, especially first rounders, and the Kalil signing have really hamstrung us.  My hope is, since it seems he doesn't really care all that much about it anyway, is that Kalil just decides to retire.  I'm sure we would still owe him some money, but i don't think it would affect our cap like having to cut him or hold onto him.

The horror of cutting Kalil is worse than being stuck with him and having him play worse than a backup. You don't even want to know how much dead cap we'd have.

Olsen got exactly what he wanted, and we fans will be having a long off season.

Lol. Blaming Gettleman is comical. Did Gettleman decide not to challenge Golloday clearly being out of bounds on third down giving Detroit 4 or even 7 points that they shouldn’t have had? Did Gettleman cost us 5 points like Ganope in the same game? Did Gettleman cause us to get barely any points when we’re dominating Seattle and couldn’t score in the red zone and then miss a potential game winning FG again? Did Gettleman fumble (wasn’t even his pick) and throw bad passes to lose to Washington? Did Gettleman miss a wide open Samuel (his pick) and throw 4 INTs?

What can’t I understand? That Hunter Henry missing this year with an ACL tear and being an OK TE wouldn’t have done anything this year?

If you actually blame Gettleman for our failures this year, you are so out of touch with reality it’s not even funny. Gettleman isn’t here anymore and Vernon Butler being inactive has 0 to do with being 6-6.

Does Gettleman have any blame for what's happening this season in your mind?

DG had 3 shitty drafts in a row ('14-'16). If you don't think that's a contributing factor to our season then idk...

Gettlman was too fixated on bigger is better. Fascination with Hawg Mollies was bad for the team.

I liked Gettleman, but between that and blowing up the defense after the Superbowl loss and lack of addressing or inadequate fixes to the problems that were exposed really hurt.

Btw, I don't think Hurney was the best choice to replace him. We should have done better, but JR couldn't let go of the past.

I don't think that Hurney is some great GM. I want a much better GM, but JR still has his stamp (and stink) on the Panthers.

Hopefully Tapper can and cleans staff this offseason. If not we are going to skid for a few years till a complete rebuild.
