Boy I nearly threw out my TV when Carter said "Cam should've stepped in" like there wasn't a dead linemen laying on the ground in front of him.

Cam can and will step up in the pocket when he has a pocket for fugs sake. He can't do anything with linemen laying on the ground in front of him.

The casual racism that has been allowed to fester on this board will come at a cost when all the racists that hated Cam all along bail after he's finally gone and the fans that are finally fed up with it all stop frequenting this place altogether. Hope the clicks were worth it.

so if you didnt like cam your racist ?

Why does everything have to be all or nothing with Cam? You can acknowledge that he has carried this team the majority of his career and also acknowledge our coaching staff and defense puts alot of pressure on him.

you can also acknowledge that he’s had 4 games now where we did enough to put the ball in his hands at the end of the game to win it and he’s failed miserably on each time either by missing wide open receivers or hurling 100mph fastballs from 10 feet away. Not sure why no one can be objective with him, everyone either has to hate him to the core or blindly dickride him

Newton is pretty clearly injured and probably shouldn't be playing.

He can look normal for a quarter, maybe a half, but beyond that he's just off. The longer the game goes on, the worse he looks.

He needs to sit and recover, but we all know that's not going to happen.

Here's what I think: How long did it take before you KNEW, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, heck, Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Warren Moon, etc, were elite QB's in this league? After a short period of time people just KNEW they had that IT factor. Big time plays in the most crucial of moments, more times than not.

Here we are still debating whether or not Cam Newton is an elite QB after how many years? I think that kind of speaks for itself.

We can win with Cam, no doubt....But it takes our defense being the big difference maker in games for that to happen.

This year was Cam's chance to prove that HE is the difference maker now that the defense is just average/ less than average. It just hasn't materialized.

I think Cam is a decent QB at this point. He has flashes of greatness, but that greatness is just too inconsistent and I think it always will be; we just have to accept that.

He literally overthrow a wide open WR for a game winning TD.

He definitely lost this game.

Game winning? The Browns would have had 2:30 and all three timeouts to get a GW FG. You have any confidence in Rivera's defense to stop that?
