"High point a ball that never reaches you."

Why do I even try with nitwits like you. A WR has to know where he is on the field. Funchess never does. I'm sorry you can't understand that from your dur hur Cams sucks chant.

I don't know why you try. Your asinine and nonsensical ramblings seldom contain logic.

While it is important that a WR is aware of where he is, it's more important that the QB throw the ball to where the WR is, and not several feet short.

And if every player on your team runs the wrong route/slows down/doesn't try, maybe they aren't the ones screwing up.

It's Funchess job to high point that pass. Look at Thomas from the Saints if you need to understand. Throw was where it needs to be to be caught.

I don't think everybody is looking at the same play. The only thing Funchess could have done on that play is commit a foul.

The DB was in position from the snap. That pass never should have been thrown.

It's obvious no one here is or has played receiver, you can't come back on a fade stop when the 1) ball is under thrown, and 2) you now have to go throw the DB's body because the ball is LOW, and not up where you can reach over the DB...

How quickly some of you forget...

The point is this season once Cam's throwing shoulder got hurt our offense went out the window, no one has really performed ''well'' at receiver since, CMC can because all of his receptions are within 5-7 yards of the LOS.

You can't win when you can't throw it down the field some, and receivers can't do their job either, Cam's accuracy has been a potato gun the last few weeks, because he's trying to play hurt.

    • thats fair.   I was beginning to think rookie punter was in the plans
    • Sam Martin   CARPunter#6 Panthers re-signed P Sam Martin to a two-year contract. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Martin’s deal is up to $5 million. Martin joined the Panthers last season on a one-year deal and wound up booting 56 punts for an average of 47.2 yards per punt. Martin is a 13-year vet of the league who has spent time with four different franchises. He landed a career-best 48.2 percent of his kicks inside his opponent’s 20-yard line last season.
    • Surprised CB is that low.  19th is odd spot. For many recent drafts, teams only felt there were around 14 first round players.  So to many 19 is just an early second and doesn't hold the value of a first.  If you go off- the smart path of LT, QB, edge, WR, CB, etc. Whatever your OG, Safety, ILB, etc needs to be a difference maker, that's the key point. I've said the 8th best edge is better than the 1st safety. Same for QB and even WRs. You should 100% factor in position value.  MHS you've been wanting a FS, let me tell you its super difficult to be a difference making FS. You're just sooo farrrr away from the action and the end result most times. If you're in the play, defense made mistakes in order. Now to talk out of both sides, maaaaaann that white boy from Oregon....I thought he crushed the combine and honestly that alone made me rethink "is he worth 19 now?!?!" he's now in the discussion for me, but still below others.    Plus I feel TE is vastly underrated in value terms. But looking at the last 20 years of TEs in the first, its down right bad. You're better like X10 better drafting one in 4th or 5th.
