God dammit why does this sound like he is being retained for next year?! If so Tepper is a straight up loser and a JR clone smh

OR, maybe Tepper just doesn't want to pay Rivera his contract and pay a new head coach, both at the same time. Anyone remember the time-line when JR gave Rivera this new contract? Before or after the poo hit the fan for JR? Did JR setup Tepper by giving Rivera that contract?

Normally I would agree but the circumstances with the team do not lend itself to a successful outcome next season.

If the situation with No. 1 does not get resolved correctly the odds are increasingly against a winng season.  Not to mention trying to revamp an aging defense.

I agree but we always seem to flourish when we have no expectations.

Cam and Luke’s career will be over by the time we get rid of this clown and it’s a damn shame. If you’re not going to fire him now, then when? Cleaning house after Tepper bought the team was unrealistic, but now that he’s had a whole season to witness this circus, surely this man can not think there is a recipe for success here. Time to rid this organization of JR stench for good. I don’t care if it makes us less competitive the next year or two. In the long run we will be better off. No one truly believes Rivera can win a super bowl so if we’re not a legit contender next season anyways who gives a fug. Get it over with and move on.
