Is Gantt referring to the Denver Broncos? Didn't their 'rich' owner step down because he's got Alzheimer's? The team is basically run by John Elway/Joe Ellis. So maybe the takeaway is 'Never assume that just because someone is good at playing football that they're also good at running a team.'

Going by his previous quote, I believe he's referring to the Cardinals.

The Cardinals interviewed both Jim Caldwell and Mike Munchak.  They asked Munchak for a second interview, but he declined.

The Cardinals are interviewing loads of candidates, both new and retread.

What they're not doing is looking at replacing Steve Keim, a guy who ownership is reported to be really high on but who has been the only real common denominator in the team's failed seasons.

It's a general dumb joke about the NFL. Gantt does that. The Rams don't have a TE coach.

Mike Munchak declined the 2nd interview last year not this year.
