Would you be willing to sit Cam an entire season and see how he does after?

Why would I need to sit Cam for a year? Do you have a medical diagnosis of his shoulder in your back pocket? Please explain.

Of course he doesn't have a "medical diagnosis", it's a hypothetical on Igo's part.  With that said, given what we saw with Andrew Luck it's certainly a reasonable discussion point.

There’s an upside to sitting Cam in 2019...

Of course it means we suck but it also means there’s a very good chance Ron and Marty are gone, and the qb class for 2019 is stacked.

Think of it this way cam gets healthy, he gets back to 100%.  our draft position shoots up you know was gonna take more than one giraffe season to fix our problems anyway.  Plus our season will be a hell of a lot easier .  Seeing the Colts have a playoff chance and when their first game is not completely all the proof I need but it’s enough to say that resting your QB and making sure he don’t get on the field until he’s 100% is important as fug

Without a tangible reason, such as a diagnosis, treatment and prognosis the answer is no. But the alternative is to eat 8 mil in cap space. Let's see what we find out soon (I hope).

Imo, it's going to take two years at least to get the oline and d-lines back to competence.  So yes.  The problem is, I'm not sure that we could fix the oline first considering that this draft is better at dline.  Regardless...I'm worried the window's got a minimal time left before we have to start over again.  Luke's got a lot of tread on his tires, and I worry for Cam's shoulder now.

The sad realization, at least to me, is that we as fans won't know until week 1 of 2019. We will be left in the dark, we will sit here and guess what is wrong with him, what he is doing to recover, what the coaching and training staff are doing.

But if/once he hits the field in week 1, we will all know if what they did worked, for the time being.
