CJ Anderson says Panthers didn’t do anything wrong

This team would have won the SB I believe with any other coach that was currently in the playoffs this yr. Ron is just not going to cut it. 8yrs and we still trying to figure things out. Cam, Luke, TD yrs squandered all bc Ron is trying to find himself as a coach. Well TD may still have a shot at a ring if he signs on with a good team.

I mean how many NFL coaches would release a player because he is too talented and they can't figure out how to use him? That right there would lead to a serious closed office, one way conversation. So, you're telling me you have no real clue how to manage or lead the offensive side of the team. So, you manage this office but you have no idea what half of the office does and have no idea how to manage them?

You have one of the best widget makers in the industry for below average wages, but you fired him because you had another really good widget maker and you didn't know how to include him. He goes to one of our competitors (who coincedentally had the best widget maker in the world) and helps lead them to the top of the widget making industy.

That about sums it up...

Wholeheartedly disagree. I look no further than to the failures on 3rd and 4th and short, in particular in the Seattle game, when CJ could have been utilized to get short yardage 1st downs. It was so wildly frustrating to see the Panthers cut a talented veteran back and struggle in key situations where he could have helped.

We have the best short yardage QB in the league not to mention a bulldozing FB

meh, what if us releasing him caused the saints to be in/win the superbowl. It very well could have happened.

It actually helped put the Rams in the Super Bowl.

Of course, last time I checked, helping other teams get to the Super Bowl wasn't part of our leadership's job description.

Maybe Williams wouldn't have if he was released with some respect.

Most players understand it's a business so they act like adults rather than whiny little bi-ches.

It's generally selfish, immature little twits like DeAngelo who throw tantrums like a toddler getting their toys taken away.

Nah, it was a trend in the Panthers organization within a certain time period.

Kinda like winning was a trend...

Not anymore, though.

These days we don't win as many games, but hey at least we're nice enough to let good players go win with other teams.

What does your post have to do with Williams/CJ attitude post-release?

Respect is earned. Getting fat and lazy and only on the team because he cost too much money to cut. Then losing 20lbs immediately after to play for less than 1M for the Steelers. While we ate 6.5M in dead cap AFTER being overpaid for 4 years.

If running for 1515 yards and 20 tds doesn't gain you respect, I don't know what does.

    • Wide Receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers – 85.3 One of the more shocking developments of the 2025 NFL season has been the Carolina Panthers’ ascension to the top of the NFC South, which they achieved with Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers. Perhaps nobody has made a bigger difference than former eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan, who continued to be a steady presence in the Panthers’ offense. McMillan caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the win Tight End: Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers – 91.1 Evans only saw the field for 16 snaps, but he was efficient in his limited playing time. He caught all three of his targets for 23 yards on just six receiving snaps while also grading well in pass protection (72.2 grade) and as a run-blocker (68.4) Edge Defender: Nic Scourton, Carolina Panthers – 77.9 The former second-rounder out of Texas A&M has been a force along the Panthers’ defensive line, and he was a key contributor in Carolina’s huge win over the Buccaneers. Scourton recorded two stops as a run-defender and added another while in coverage. Scourton also tallied his sixth sack of the year while contributing another pressure to the mix Safety: Lathan Ransom, Carolina Panthers – 75.7 Another Carolina Panther on this week’s list, Ransom has typically been stronger in run defense — he carries an 85.2 grade in that field on the season. But Sunday against the Buccaneers was his best day in coverage. Ransom intercepted his only target, which wound up being the game-winner that put the Panthers in the driver’s seat in the NFC South
