Montez Sweat has heart issue.

As bad as a need that DE is for this franchise now and moving forward, I would try like all get out to move up for a guy like Sweat if you know he's that player. Like it or not DE is the second or third most valuable position on the field. You can't get to the Superbowl without creating sacks, pressure. The time is now. They addressed the Oline in free agency they must go all out for a DE and everybody knows it.

Not something that will drop his stock.. he’s going top 10

Just what I'm saying, they've got to jump up the draft board. Good thing is that we've got some very attractive trade pieces, not trying to name anybody but we do.

They need their Julius Peppers NOW. They need to draft a DE that they can plug and play. Only thing is that there aren't many of these guys on the planet.

They don't need to Mike Shula this, no deception. Go get your DE!

If the right guy is there I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I wouldn't want to give up anymore than one of our 3rds to do it. That would put us somewhere in the 12-13 range.

What about a WR and a third to move up to 8-10?

The only receiver I'd be okay parting with has zero trade value.

Having two guys with the same skill set at one position while also having McCaffrey may be overkill. All that firepower with no way to use it all in one football game and having no pass rush threat is asking for 34-38 loses or blowouts if your offense can't move the ball that day. They no longer have that guy at DE.

Overkill wins games.

I like our skill position combo on offense way too much right now to risk weakening it.

I agree, but if you feel you need to trade up, I'd find some other way to do it.

I'd do that in a heartbeat to get from 3-8 in this draft. I wouldn't look back. That guy may really have his own chance to be a star at his position without having to share with the sooooooooooooooo many weapons Norv has especially with Thomas arising and ol' 88 maybe coming back. There is only one ball on offense.

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat in this draft.
