Explain how their window has closed when they just won the division title again and has added more pieces to an already potent team. Perhaps the window has closed on another nfc south team that you're obviously not ready to admit. In your little world, there's always next year, right

There is no reason to, please consider going to Saints board rather than trolling here

Yes it is.

it's been said many times that holding could be called on every single play, and it's true. Truth be told, there's probably plenty of others that happen on both sides, on any given play as well.

Making it so that we can catch all the penalties that happened on a given clay sounds great in concept, but I can pretty well guarantee that if you actually watched a game where that was happening, you'd be ready to dump that system quick.

32 coaches and 31 owners agree that it shouldn’t be part of the game.

32 coaches and 31 owners caved in to a massive b-tch fest.

This one has unintended consequences written all over it. It's probably going to blow up in somebody's face. Won't lie. I'd laugh if it was the Saints.

Can't celebrate too much, though. They only voted to allow it for one year. If it's a boondoggle this season, it'll be off the books this time next year.

That’s a cheap way out. The Saints gain nothing from this. It doesn’t fix last year. It ensures it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Payton’s been calling for all of this for years. It’s a shame something like that had to happen for a common sense rule to be voted in.

I would maybe agree that there was caving if it narrowly won or lost. Having 1 person out of 64 vote against it isn’t caving, no matter how you want to spin it.

The Patriots technically "gained nothing" from the rule that was enacted after the Tom Brady injury either (except for Brady having the ability to crow about it when anyone gets flagged for hitting him).

I look at this rule the same way I looked at that one; the difference being that at least for the moment, this one is only in place for a year.

Hint 1:  "own"

He owns the team.

Hint 2:  "charged"

In the great United States there is this concept known as the presumption of innocence, this concept follows from the 5th, 6th and 14th amendments of The Constitution of the United States

Curious, have you taken time to read it?  (The Constitution that is)

If interested you can dig in here:

https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/bill-of-rights/what-does-it-say

https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/amendments-11-27

Most people here couldn’t tell you what the Bill of Rights is but can tell you who got a personal foul in a game 10 years ago

I just don’t get it. We complain about the state of officiating in the NFL every year, and now we’re gonna allow technology to aid us in making calls, and because people are upset that it seems like the Saints have a personal stake in it, people are complaining. This doesn’t help the Saints. It helps everyone.

Why do Saints fans think anyone here remotely feels sympathy for them about that playoff game they lost? You guys have a title. We lost SB50 over some bad/missed calls, but you don't see us showing up to Saints Report to whine about it. Nut the f*ck up man.

Well said. Every team has been screwed by calls before. Dez caught it in the NFCCG, I may be wrong here, but I didn’t see him wearing a T shirt calling out refs like Cam Jordan did. I didn’t see Garrett throw a pity party to everyone. Saints are the worst, you got screwed, keep the bitching amongst your inner circle and move on.
