Hurney says a lot more to come in free agency

Sounds like you guys are wringing your hands over a misinterpreted quote. He used the "40-50%" line in a single comment about who's going to play LT. All that means is someone is probably going to be drafted to compete for the spot with Moton and Williams. That's exactly the right move. Nothing has been said about restructuring anyone's contracts. WTF is everyone worried about?

Yeah, this makes me VERY nervous. This is exactly how we ended up in cap hell during his first tenure.

That was extending our guys for huge contracts, not finding late term free agents.  Give Tepper's effect  at least a little credit.

"Daryl has the skill set to play there"

No he doesn't.

This is why people question Rivera's personnel decisions.

This would come from Matsko and Turner and Wharton.  They know a little more about offensive lines than Huddlers who cant even manage a fantasy roster.

Unless I missed something, the 40 to 50 percent thing sounds like he's a referring to the draft and the remainder of free agency, as well as OTAs and camp. Things need to be kept in context.
