Rapoport interview with Tepper; Tepper: "He's our QB unquestionably & the-new-and-improved Cam will be better than he ever was."

it is weird that cam hasn't thrown a football.  do we know if he's even throwing nerf's yet? we have a game 9/8 and he's supposed to be full go by then with the practice it would take?   idk if he's gonna be limited heavily in practice each week that's another downer.  i hope they take all the precaution and time he needs.

not buying that...JR had plenty of cash to do whatever he wanted to...all he wanted was more cash

remember the payton manning pie chart?...remember when he fired his sons?...gave money to UNCC, but wanted his name on the field?...appears like JR turned into a greedy sob as he got older...

poor old guys.  my pops went from being a very smart man to me bringing him home from lunch and watching him flick a lighter at the garage door to open it.  and yelling at me when i told him i didn't think it would work.

Of course I only have an outsiders perspective but from everything that has transpired, I think the style JR cultivated would be that of a "good ole' boys club" that put loyalty to JR ahead of winning.

Respectfully, I think that's ridiculous to say any NFL owner covets sycophants over Super Bowls.  Again, one doesn't have to tear down someone to praise another.  We all can agree Tepper hit ground running.  Great! However, why not just leave it at that? Why is it so often JR's name get run through the mud when someone has something to say about Tepper?  I get last offseason, totally legit and fair game to contrast the two.  It's a year removed, so it's 100% Tepper's team.  It's like constantly comparing your current girlfriend to an ex.  It gets old after a while.

Not weird at all. Everyone around the team says it is common knowledge that he wouldn't be throwing now.

Tons of players change their routine year to year. Brady's TB12 program is a perfect example. He recruited many of the patriot players to switch their routine to the tb12 program. Matter of fact Cam does some of the workouts in this routine. He discusses it in his VLOG.

Wasn’t my point. It was stated Cam changed it up due to training in the medical world evolving. In fact, it evolved so much from 10-12 months ago Cam changed it up and all of a sudden he’s coming back better than ever. That is what sounded silly to me.

Anyone in peak physical shape has to derive from a routine to keep the body guessing and building.

My question is what’s the difference this year, aside from the obvious, that makes him come back better than ever? What makes this training different?

Hard for me to believe it’s the 10 month evolution in the medical training world that never existed before May 2018.

Tepper having his hand in it and funding more options and knowledge on the subject makes sense and is a response, especially considering JR was old school and not the kind of owner who would investigate these type of things.

Part of the mudslinging has to do with the fact that it turns out JR was at best a total creep.

It's personal for some people.  I get that, but whether you like the man personally has no bearing on how he ran the team.  Kraft has 6 Super Bowls and JR, in comparison, looks like a choir boy .  So being a "total creep" really does not correlate into success/failure.

Also practicing in the rain is a crutch.  Practice bubbles are a relatively new thing.  Teams of yesteryear had plenty of success having to endure the elements.  Indoor facilities are extremely nice perks, but ultimately does not determine if teams are successful or not.  I'm glad we are getting one, but I have no delusions that this team is going to go out and win a Super Bowl because they won't get rained on in practice this season.

yes, right, common knowledge.   still not throwing and owner saying he's gonna be back and better than ever.  got a game 9/8.   you think he's gonna be ready, and able to practice during the week?   i'm just kinda wondering if that seems crazy at this point. it could also be common knowledge that he won't be ready around the building, but not publicly.  ticket sales would be a shite show and there would be $10 game day tickets available again if it got out.

You keep saying 10-12 months as though medical procedures, devices, meds/supplies go from concept to approval/patent in a year. New medical tech/knowledge roll out every day.

Every day? And how many of those concepts get proven in that amount of time? Probably not as much as you think.

Not to get into another subject but the medical world is held back by religion and ethics. Not saying it shouldn’t, but fact is that it is.

Many players go overseas to ‘heal’ where ethics and law don’t get in the way. Our own Thomas Davis for example.

Still I don’t think that it was the evolution of training that helped Cam. I suspect it is the new owner. Or perhaps a new medical counselor Cam is confiding in. Either way, I think it’s a good thing.
