Panthers claim someone

CHARLOTTE - The Panthers have claimed center John Yarbrough off waivers (Cleveland), and placed tackle Dillon Gordon on injured reserve (shoulder).

Yarbrough was signed as an undrafted free agent by Cleveland at the start of training camp and waived on Friday.

A four-year player at the University of Richmond, Yarbrough played in 39 career games with 28 starts. A 2018 All-CAA second-team selection, Yarbrough helped protect for an offense that threw for 2,906 yards and 15 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,206 yards. He’s a native of Homewood, Ala.

    • Did the same thing against the Jets as well. Had a walk in TD had he kept it outside but inside cut inside and we settled for 3
    • I don't really believe in stepping stones from season to season. Not on a team level. Every season is its own unique thing.  We are currently at 8 wins and there is a decent chance we will stay at 8 wins. There is a decent chance we will get to 9 wins instead. We have gotten fortunate in a couple of games, and we have taken advantage of situations in some games. Nothing wrong with that, and that's how the ball bounces sometimes. We can equally thank the Bucs for being a complete dumpster fire in the 2nd half of the season for how we are still in contention past Thanksgiving.
    • Horn also botched the jet sweep yesterday and ran straight into a defender when it should have been an easy first down.
