Saints beat 2 very good teams without Brees

Seattle has beaten the Bengals, Steelers and Cardinals...hardly a juggernaut

The jury is still out on the Seahawks, but they uncharacteristically committed several unforced errors while playing the Saints.  After that, their chances of winning the game was somewhere between slim and none.

I like the direction the Panthers have been heading these last few weeks.  If they continue to improve on D and the offense gels, I like our chances against the Saints.

I don't see the Panthers being a push over.

I fully expect this contest to be a defensive and special teams war.  Our O-Line better gel a helluva lot better if they expect to get our QB out of this game upright.  Also, whomever is QB for this game, get your head in the film room and get those pre-snap reads down pat.  You will HAVE to get that ball out quick if we want any chance to move the ball on offense.

You know something, up until yesterday I use to OBSESS about other NFCs teams and hoping they lose etc, but I’m done. Bucs smashing the Rams, Saints keep winning without Brees, it will literally drive you crazy worrying over things we can’t control.

Im done with all that at this point. We still have two games against the Saints, we either handle our own business and keep winning, or we don’t.

Uh Bros??? Can anyone stop them when thry get Brees back? I cant even remember the last time we beat the Saints other than the finale last year when they rested their starters.

I think Carolina definitely has a shot at beating them even with Brees back.  So far looks like Carolina finally has a good secondary. Only lost by 3 to them last year with a worse defense and injured Cam Newton.

After what the Bucs did to the Rams, I think we should be more worried about them.

The Saints haven't really beat anyone yet. They couldn't even score a touchdown last night.

Our defense looks pretty legendary right now.

Granted, the Saints have a pretty easy schedule. But I think they'll struggle against Chicago, the Bucs, and us.

Bucs at Aints next Sunday and we will see who walks out a winner in that contest and is the better team.

Saints will win. Their defense is very good. Bucs win yesterday bc Arians is familiar with the Rams and mcvay being from Arizona. Tampa is still the same team that lost to SF and NY. If it wasnt for Cam, Ron and Norv, they would be 1-3.

Saints havent beat anyone? They beat Houston and then Seattle and Dallas without Brees. Idc if they scored 12pt last night with teddy bridgwater. When we play them, they’ll have Brees back for both games. Tampa is still tampa. They’re an inconsistent team.

They weren't really that good when they had Brees.  I've seen this happen so many times before (it's happening with the Panthers before your eyes)... star player goes down, and the rest of the team rallies behind the new guy.

When Brees comes back, I expect their defense to take a huge step backward because they won't feel like it's on them to win the game.
