I haven’t seen anyone seriously acting like Kyle is winning these games by himself.  We have great defense.  Kyle plays his role.  Which is largely letting everyone do what they do in a CMC driven offense.  The results of all that.....has equaled success

No.  The league doesn’t rank teams by points.  NFL ranks them by yards.  Always has. 

They were the #10 ranked defense.   Just a fact. 

None of that is hard or new.  You are the one making up how teams are ranked by using a stat that isn't used to rank teams. 

Now you should look at more than the ranking and I would agree. No stat tells you everything.  Like points doesn’t tell you how the offense actually responsible for vs a defense 

as like I said, OP used DVOA.  Carolina was top 10 defensively using DVOA

that's true, points allowed is a separate stat that figures into the overall ranking. that's how it works.

you're just wrong goobypls.   to me points allowed is the most important along with turnovers, but they both factor into overall rankings. that's just how it works.   if you're using points allowed as your ranking you have to say so when using the ranking or it'll get misconstrued with overall.

Damn yall have some horrible takes.

The league does not use scoring defense in its rankings, it goes by yards given up.

All points allowed are not giving up by the defense, pick 6's, punt returns, kick returns, safeties, are points the defense has no control over.
