LaCanfora: Newton could miss "multiple games"

it seems like there are 2 people who are actively rooting for kyle to fall flat, and 2 people actively rooting for cam to fall flat.   there seem to be a lot of people thinking when/if cam gets inserted there are a lot of us that won't be rooting for the team to succeed.     that's the part that's so weird.  pretty sure 99.8% of everyone here is going to be cheering for the team to win no matter who plays.

This is what's infuriating about Panthers twitter, almost makes me want to block the word.

There are some fringe guys on each end of the spectrum that have agendas....meanwhile most fans just want wins.

I talk to a LOT of football fans that aren't panthers fans, just part of my business, and all of them cannot believe that I'm ready for Cam to come back...they attribute wins directly to QB's....guess it's just part of being a casual fan.

Cam might need surgery just based on basic information I've read about the injury.

yes but liza frank is a general description that covers an area.   it just depends where she stomped you.  could be anything from a break to a grade 1 sprain

Said what exactly?  Did I date your wife in high school or something?

Yea I'd be embarrassed enough to try to forget about this or act like it never happened too. Man, you were so emotional the world was over just after two games. Pretty hilarious, epitome of knee-jerk. I mean we all say stupid stuff, but you went on and on and on and on.....

What does that have to do with this thread?

I still stand by my statement that Hurney is a bad GM, and I don't want him anywhere near the steering wheel of this franchise moving forward.  I have no idea what you mean by "act like it never happened" or "were so emotional".

I doubt you can find very many of my posts that have any emotion at all.

Are you OK?

I know a lot of non Panther's fans, who are much more than casual fans, who are't the slightest bit racist, and have no agenda who don't think Newton is nearly as good as many of us do. He's literally an icon to many Panthers fans and they see him as infallable. Anything that doesn't work is directly attributed to someone else. They will throw anyone and everyone under the bus to maintain that image of him.

Those motivated by race can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. They don't deserve to be aknowleged really unless it's with a middle finger or a fist.

There should be room for logical criticism just like with everyone else in the sports world.

Agreed 100%.

I'm not one to bash Cam much, the QB's get plenty of that to go around....I do get annoyed by the fans that freak out with the "we/you don't deserve Cam" stuff, and the "he should go play somewhere he is loved" guys.  ALL QB's are going to take heat when things aren't going well, it's just part of the deal.  I'll call out Cam when it's needed, and back him up just the same.

White folks always want to make themselves the victims when talking race instead of addressing what's right in front of their face.

You probably have a tiki torch in your closet.

At this point I think it's pretty obvious Cam is 100% healthy. Now it's just a wait and see approach until Kyle shits the bed so Ron can pull the trigger

I hate using injuries as an excuse though to simply deflect from what in reality is a true QB controversy. I get the fact you don't want to create a media spectacle, but it's getting pretty ridiculous at this point.

Just come out and say what everyone else knows to be fact. Cam is 100%, but this team is clearly better with Kyle at the helm, and this whole "we're not gonna rush cam back" bc of injury and not because of performance is quite honestly disrespectful to the QB who's completely turned our season around.

Show some damn loyalty and respect to the people who currently deserve it Ron.

Talks about loyalty, ignores Cam's injury and bashes him.

Eat sh!t

When you look at who Cam's receivers have been, the lines he has been given, and who has been calling the plays most of his career, it's easy to see he hasn't been given much help unless you're stupid as fug.
