How many weeks of rehab does Cam have left?

Today in his press conference Ol' Rowboat said:

"Cam is in the middle of his rehab program, he's doing the things we ask of him, we'll go ahead and start Kyle".

(next question)

Later he said:

..."the last update I got more-so than anything else is he's going through his rehab, and as he continues through that they will give me updates as to where he is, and we'll see.  Again, he's probably had a workout today, or some sort of treatment, he'll have one tomorrow, he'll have one on Wednesday, and we'll probably get an update by then.  But right now as I told you guy we are going to this game with Kyle as the starter."

(Ol' Rower seems like he is completely in the dark on what Cam is doing on a daily basis)

According to The Rower the rehab program for Cam started the weekend after the first Tampa Bay game....Rower assured us Cam was rehabbing over that weekend --- that was 6-weeks ago.

If Cam is truly "in the middle" of his rehab program this implies 12-weeks total (not unexpected with a Lisfranc injury)....

....this would imply an initial start on 12/8 against the Falcons at their place --- probably a good place to get him going, Falcons aren't putting up much of a fight against anyone.

My thought was 12/1 at home against the Redskins would be his first start but giving Cam one more week won't hurt anything.

Closing Observation:  When the subject of Cam is raised Ol' Rowboat is visibly uncomfortable and his body language is horrendous, truly a bizarre situation.

(would love to sit down at a poker table with The Rower!)

Every time you mention this, it just reminds me how stupid your threads are.

Pal, the scroll button is your friend.  Whenever you see my handle just scroll on by.....everyone will be better off when you do so.

Better yet, mute me.....please!

Have we considered the possibility Cam does not want to come back and play? Maybe he’s enjoying not getting his body destroyed by free rushers his offensive line can’t block and his brains scrambled by late hits that go uncalled by the refs

Nah.  I am perfectly fine for calling out your horrible threads for being horrible.

So noted.

Moving on, let's revisit the issue that clearly makes you uncomfortable....

....why do you feel Ol' Rower is so repulsed and exhibits such incredibly cringeworthy body language when asked about Cam?

Heck, when pressed on Cam he stalked out of one press conference a few weeks ago....

....in your opinion why is Ron so skeeved out when the line of questioning turns toward Cam?

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
