Panthers need to go get Kap..looks like Cam may be out probably for the whole season as this doesn't look good..

why? We defiantly don’t need to turn our offense into a zone read offense.  We have CMC and he is the best player on the team.

If we didn’t have CMC? Just had an average RB? Then you could make an argument running the read could be argued as the best option to win.

Surgery announcement and IR likely coming early next week.

I don't know if I'd go that far but it's hard to deny that the Panthers response pretty much confirms everybody's worst interpretation of the early reports.

It ain't good.

No team is going to sign an outsider and expect them to learn the system on the fly eight weeks into the season.

he didn't practice at all the last 2 days.  nothing.  something happened to it on his way to getting ready to play.  had to.  it just had to.  no other reason to not be doing light workouts with the other guys who are out

one thing i do like about marty, i expect him to completely be able to handle situations like this with the player.  he genuinely loves them.    its the handing out contracts to anderson, morgan, jake, double trouble.... you have to worry about.

Honestly, I think it would be the best news at this point. Make sure this issue is properly addressed and make sure Ron can't throw him back out there in a desperate attempt to save his job.

Best thing to come out of this is the potential of Ron and Co getting canned

Hopefully Tepper doesn’t let Ron slide with the injury BS this time. This whole injured Cam fiasco has been mishandled since 2016 when we were letting Cam play concussed and Ron said “he’d take a few shots too”

    • When a team has EXPECTATIONS you have to show them that your fandom and praise is EARNED.  People would be mad if the they lost two one goal competitive games like 2023 but they wouldn't have gotten booed out of the building because the effort and competitiveness would be there but to lose in THAT fashion at home with your entire top line going free lance and saying fug this yeahhh.
    • Well with back to back road games to open the season again we really can't afford a "slow start" at least not for the psyche of the fanbase that is already at rock bottom from years of losing. I think that will depend on our approach to preseason this go around. But I do agree the makings of a culture change could be big for us. At the same time we heard talk of this last year and then we got the doors blown off multiple times. I can agree with you it's best to try to maintain perspective until we get closer to the midway point of the season. The main things I want to see early on even if we aren't necessarily winning is spark and toughness from the offense and defense and at least keeping games close.
    • First goal hmmm im going with Verhague
