Two reasons for all of our losses this season.

Or it could be the lack of run gap integrity that this defense has shown

And I know we're gonna blame that on Ron, and to an extent you should, but our DTs play down hill and downhill only. No one holds the PoA. God we miss Star.

idk how you blame this one on Norv tho.

Funny cuz Ron is the DC, and Norv is the OC. Both of which have the final say so in both matters.

And Ron has say so for both. I'm so disappointed every single week seeing the same damn mistakes from these guys.

You killed it here. What a post

The problem is the coaching staff simply doesn’t know how to play outside their comfort zone. Ron going aggressive at the wrong times and makes more mistakes, Norv shows a little outside the box but then goes right back to what he knows at the wrong times. Simply put they’re not creative outside their gameplan and tendencies. Good at what they do but when they’re not good enough there’s no adaptation, just a loss.

Don’t want to sound like I’m defending Ron but if we actually had guys capable of stopping the run we wouldn’t get gashed every week.Same thing with pass pro... line sucks at it. You can only do so much with what you have to work with

Christian McCaffrey

This.....only reason we have the wins we do.  Dude is in the conversation with the top players this year for MVP this season.  Anyone who believes its for any other reason are just flat out wrong.  Kyle Allen is an average QB, RR is a terrible game time coach and Norv has been mediocre at best.  Our defense can't stop the run and have been one of the worst in getting off the field on third downs.

    • The only real concern I have with copperheads is stepping on one.  Those things are practically invisible laying in lead litter.
    • The way they draft has played out makes me think Tepper, or at least his system, is still involved. Our drafting looks based more of an algorithm and some analytic model than watching actual football or even common sense. Now we've brought PFF into the building. More analytics. Where are the guys that just watch football. This guy can separate. This guy rises under pressure. This guy has a feel for the flow of the game. Bend. Hands. Footwork. Just fuging football. Its like we're watching fantasy football based drafting and team building except there isn't a waiver wire to pick up the hot replacement for one of your bust picks.
    • I had emergency gallbladder removal and was back at work on limited movement, hard physical job but it was 4 weeks before I felt comfortable really stressing the surgical area. No way I'd have thought of getting hit, punched, kneed, or torqued on a semi-fresh incision in 2 weeks. These guys are also carrying extra weight so its also what they had to cut through as well.
