He's still 6th in the NFL in tackles despite a very low output this week. He's actually leading the NFL among players whose team has only played 9 games.

Id say Bradberry, but it’s depending on how long he’s on the shelf.

Right now, I'd say Luke and CMC for sure. I think Bradberry is deserving too. DJ Moore and Addison still have an outside shot with a strong finish. Moore is 10th in the NFC in receiving yardage and Addison is 10th in sacks. Shaq is in about the same boat sitting at 12th in the NFC in tackles (6th among those with 9 games).

I mean, I can’t believe I’m typing this but Big Vern has 4 sacks and 3 FF in 7 games as a non starting DT. That’s pretty impressive.

I disagree. He has made more of an impact than what shows up in stats by calling out plays and making it easier on his teammates. Speaking of stats, with terrible coaching and missed assignments across the defense, he still has 2 interceptions and is sixth in total tackles (the 5 above him have all played an extra game). We are just disappointed because the defense as a whole started to suck and teams can exploit so many areas while planning to attack areas away from Luke.

6th. 

Everyone ranked ahead has an extra game.  So he ranks 4th per game. 

Best of the top 6 in pass coverage production.

Look at Luke's numbers. He's not living off of reputation. He's one of the statistically best LBs in the NFL this season.

He looked pretty good exploding the Packers oline with McCoy on that last play of the first half. But even if you’re right, he wouldn’t be the first DT to go to the pro bowl with impressive rush numbers who was poor at run D.
