Well it's probably not fair to compare anyone to Belichick who has a very reasonable claim as greatest football coach of all time. But I'm not sure I would go that far anyway. Pats played the 5-6 Eagles last week after their bye and looked completely flat, squeaking out a 17-10 win. And just for more perspective, the Packers had their bye last week and they aren't looking too hot after 2 weeks of preparation. Niners are better than us across the board. Give us 10 weeks of prep with even Belichick as our coach isn't magically changing that fact.

Packers go for it on 4th and 8 and the Niners' pass rush nearly beat the ball to Rodgers. Unreal.

I'm honestly not sure this year's edition of the Patriots could beat the 49ers.

Shanahan runs a WCO variant, correct? If we're thinking about new leadership, perhaps someone from the Shanahan tree would make sense. Our weapons seem to fit and man, it looks good tonight with Jimmy G running it.

Maybe everyone should cut the panthers a break for the 49ers game.  When Rodgers can only manage 104 yards and put up 8 points, perhaps the 49ers are a lot better than anyone is giving them credit for.
