lame. he's a little lead-footed in pass pro at times but has great instincts and plays the run well. his fourth down penetration for the stop was as clutch as they come.

Dude was absolutely abused at his job. LB may be in his future.

Why not try samuel at returner, might as well at this point.  Hes ok in space so maybe he could be alright.  We can't risk having dj moore returning punts right now.

sure we can.   he is the 2nd best offensive weapon we have.  In opportunity to get him more touches should be used.

if CMC can play every snap.  Moore can return a punt here or there.  CMC is at literally an extremely higher risk of getting hurt vs Moore.

Reid was picked on many times. He can't cover and gets beat deep often. We have to upgrade at that position.

Because the punts would hit his pads and bounce to the other team.

people are being way too hard on Samuel. he's going to be better than Moore in the long run. he had a bad game, though even that's relative, he did miss some catches but he also had the same effect Ted Ginn did for us. DCs scheme around Samuel's speed and Norv knows that and uses him as a decoy frequently to free things up. Moore is the easy read that Norv builds in for Allen, who is a fresh young QB. Samuel is doing the things to draw and expose coverages.

he has the most crisp routes of our WRs by far, and he historically has not had a problem with dropped passes. just give him time and you'll be glad you didn't get invested in hating on him this early.
