Tepper doesn’t know anything about football

But Carolinahuddle has enough football experts to deem a owner inept after doing EXACTLY what 99% of this board has been begging for for 5 years.... that’s exactly why he didn’t fire a GM mid-season when a can’t replace him right this moment lol. He literally explained he didn’t want to blow up the business and football sides in the same season lol.

In the spirit of the season, I have faith that Dave Tepper will eventually see the light and can Marty Hurney before he can do anymore damage to this team's future prospects.

Jourdan Rodrigue believes he's given David Tepper a solid plan for how he's going to fix things.

Jourdan's a really good reporter but she's also an unrepentant Marty Hurney apologist.

Hard to believe a scenario where Marty has an epiphany and realizes what he's been doing wrong after 20 years of trying.

Sorry, not buying it.

Same here.

I mean, I get that he probably feeds her info and stuff so I don't know how objective she can be if she wants him to keep talking.

But let's be real. The guy just isn't qualified to do the job he's in.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
