Panthers have met with McCarthy twice

I'm pretty sure Aaron Rogers is a world class a--hole.

Unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily mean he's wrong.

Well from experience usually the people who are saying these things about other people are themselves the dumbest.

Aaron Rodgers is also a playoff choker. He can check plays and has plenty of times. Their inability to close out more seasons with Superbowls is as much on him as it was not having a playoff defense most years.

It's concerning the Packers go 13-3 the year after they fire this guy, who Rodgers deems as the lowest IQ coach he's ever had

Well that happened plenty of times with Mike McCarthy and Aaron Choked the playoff games.

its also low class to blame your suck on others.

The packers record is not a reflection of how good that team actually is.  They are not a serious super bowl contender.  Played the horrible NFC east and AFC west.  Plus bears twice and lions twice.

They haven't gone 13-3 in 8 years, and only twice since the 1990s

And the last time they had this good of a record, Aaron Rodgers put up a historically great all time season for a QB in his prime

I get the comparisons between Rivera and McCarthy's tenures. The thing is though, everything I've heard from Rivera since his firing makes it sound as if he's satisfied with what he did with the Panthers. Meanwhile, McCarthy has spent a year trying to become a better coach.

There’s a big difference in throwing your players under the bus with “missed opportunities” and taking it on the chin yourself.

actually I think Mike had more of a problem with Aaron Rodgers choking playoff games and not having a playoff defense most years.

The year they won their Super Bowl is when they had their best defense.

Aaron did choke a 14-2 season. He will probably do the same this year.

Who was the source?

and how smart is Aaron?

note— usually the people that call other people dumb usually are covering up their own stupidity.

Take it for what it's worth, but AR scored 35 on the Wonderlic. It's not the 48 that Fitz earned, who attended Harvard. However, it's still well above the norm of 20 for the average NFL player, and 26 for the average NFL QB. He also scored a 1310 on his SAT, per an article I found from the NY Times in 2011, which is decently high.

There's nothing I could find on his direct IQ scores, but it may help shed a little light on his intelligence (Yep, I'm pretty bored this morning, so figured I'd do some research). So, if he says McCarthy is a low IQ guy, I'm going to tend to believe Rodgers on this one. I'm hoping that Tepper will be astute enough to weed out anyone who is less than stellar in the thinking department, and will bring in someone who can adapt and learn, and be a better coach than the guy on the opposite side of the field on game day.

    • As the demand for apartments grows parking is becoming limited and it’s sad. I use to tailgate but I just park at uncc deck now and train in and head to rhino market. My tailgate grill hates me.
    • It simply depends on perspective. CMC, when healthy and on the field, has a higher YPC and YPR than LT. Yes, he's been injury prone, but this is simply a "all quarter-century team." There are certainly different stats and different lists. If this were a list or about a team simply based on longevity, then of course LT wins that every time, but some lists are more subjective and nuanced depending upon what they are, and it's not necessarily a reflection upon a person's ability to analyze sports.
    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
