1. Add quality in trenches and a playmaker for CAM

2. RB - Jay Ajayi - nice backup to CMC on a cheap 1 yr deal

WR - AJ Green and Robbie Anderson

TE - Hunter Henry

OT - Jason Peters/Whitworth 1 yr cheapish deal and draft Wirfs/Thomas

DT - Leonard Williams to pair with KK/Poe/McCoy

DE - Resign Addison and get Yannick Ngakoue. These two along with Burns would be exciting.

3. Get rid of most except McCoy, Bradberry, Boston, Van Roten and Addison.

NFL become the MLB all of a sudden? We're looking at around 50-60 million in cap space at most if Cam is kept...and you just spent double that.

Also in every post like this i see great free agent suggestions but it becomes real clear that a lot of ppl are very very "draft pick playing a lot" averse and always wanna mock sign us a free agent starter at every position. Every guy we draft can't sit for a year, we gotta raise the expectation level here

I think Hurney drafting Armani Edwards and Jimmy Clausen really fuged with everyone's expectations so lots of yall are terrified at the thought of a draft pick starting for us in any capacity

I like this analysis--do not understand the love for McCoy--statistically, he robbed us.  I disagree with a lot of points, but you explain your reasoning.

I saw a lot of good from McCoy consistently all year, tbh I think the group is a solid group given the right scheme, Our lbs just aren’t very good at block shedding. 3-4 just isn’t a good fit for majority the roster we fielded

I think we'll sign a LT, TE, RB, CB & SS in the FA.Then let the draft focus on depth, future replacements especially at DE.

Now, if Cam comes back, which he most likely will, does Olsen come back for one more season?

Potential o-line look:

  • FA / Daley
  • Little / Roten
  • Paradis / Larsen
  • Turner / Draft
  • Moton / Little

D-line doesn't look too bad. Irvin & Addison on the edge. Miller & Burns will need to bulk up a bit. Haynes stays at LB?

I would rather build OL through the draft, seems we always get burned by vet O Linemen

Well it isn't like our draft picks have been crushing it on the OL either. I would say a veteran OL is important because it helps us avoid attempting to panic draft too many OL in one draft.
