Eeehhh, it's true. There's pros and cons to each of them. I just don't have one that stands out above the others so far.

I know the people with insider knowledge are overwhelmingly saying it's McDaniels. They could be right.

so it could go either way?

the poll is "Who Will Be" next coach.

If Tepper wanted McCarthy the trigger would have been pulled.

I am willing to bet my avatar that Josh McDaniel will rub Tepper the wrong way on 1/10/20202

Matt Rhule is my favorite candidate but I think his heart is with G-man and his four new "Computer Guys"

Bieniemy fits except the "players coach" makes me cringe.

Waiting for more options while wondering what the big rush was in firing Ron to gain that "competitive advantage".

It'd be unfortunate if Tepper has a verbal agreement with McDaniels but we're his second choice after the Browns.  Watch the Browns get Urban Meyer, then we end up as the settling option for the douchiest most non-players coach in the league.

They said it's down to 4, Stefanski is not a target.

LaCanfora mentioned him as a possibility, but there's been no other word of it so far. The Browns requested him and I believe they already have an interview lined up.

Mind you, there's nothing preventing the Panthers from requesting the interview at this point. If they do indeed want to, you'd have to wonder why they haven't already.

The one thing these guys have in common...finally, is that they are all offensive minded guys.

Who would you want to be their DC to be?  Remember, our defense is a hot mess right now.

McDaniels apparently already has a guy in mind (Colts DB coach Jonathan Gannon).

Well remember, tampering never happens :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

I've speculated that if he really does want McDaniels, the rest could be "just in case" interviews.

If that were true, and McDaniels turned it down, they could go with one of the others or they might decide to expand the search.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
