If these grown men cant listen to their coach, then why the hell are they playing a team sport like football in the first place? They're grown. If anything, they should accept the message more than the kids in college.

The notion that you cant listen to a person who makes less money than you is incredibly immature.

Passion will see passion.  As long as it's not just BS and he lives it, the team will follow suit. Kids, grown men, or whoever.

Hell, it's honestly one of the reasons Rivera was as successful (relatively) as he was.  He had guys' respect, was a players coach who connected with them outside of football, built relationships, etc.  If Rhule can do that, while coaching them up and not playing favorites, he can be legit.

If the person delivering the message hasn’t earned the respect. So your saying cam, Luke and the likes are just mindless zealots who will listen to anyone?

So if he can’t coach a weaker class up to beat the better team what makes you think he’ll win any games in the nfl?

I have some reservations about him but he coached a weaker team to being competitive with extremely skilled teams.  He beat any team with close to the same skill level IMO.  If his starting QB isn't injured in a couple games (his #2 QB could barely throw a ball ... ), they are still a threat in the Sugar Bowl and I think they win vs OU in the championship game.

mindless zealots? lol, what?  no, they'll listen to him because he is their coach.  they'll give him respect until he loses it, because they're professionals.

Ah yes, because you know who they will and who they wont respect.

If they cant bring themselves to listen to a coaches message because the coach is new, they shouldnt be on an nfl roster, tbh.

What kind of pretentious bullshit is that?

Ya and short of completely rebuilding the team. It’s pretty clear this guy is going to have zero respect walking through the door after Rivera. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the players won’t be professional and work with him but he’s going to have a long road to earn their respect.

Your already giving this guy zero chance to be a head coach. What coach dosen't intend to earn the respect of their players?
