Jerry Richardson was famously cheap when it came to paying coaches, scouts etc.

David Tepper is...not.

Tepper knows that if you want quality, you have to pay for it.

Having a larger staff also builds a pipeline for when coaches leave for bigger jobs elsewhere.  It's important to develop young coaches to be able to step into a lead position when the top guy gets poached...assuming you are as successful as we all hope.

Is it just me or are they WAY TOO MANY Baylor coaches (many with no NFL experience) being hired?   You gotta believe Tepper knew this was Rhule's plan when he interviewed him.  Time will tell if it is a good call but a lot of quality and proven coaches are being passed up so that Rhule's BFF's can start NFL coaching careers.  7 years is a long time to wait for these guys to get experience.

Both Frisman jackson and Jeremy Scott recently rebranded their Twitter accounts with Panther logos, but neither of them had "BU" in their name.

It's fairly simple to change your handle on Twitter, but it might be different with a blue check (verified) account.

For what it's worth, Baylor LB Coach Mike Siravo has taken the Twitter account that identified him as a Baylor coach (BUCoachMike) offline.

Both Frisman jackson and Jeremy Scott recently rebranded their Twitter accounts with Panther logos, but neither of them had "BU" in their name.

And now it's back, with a new name and guess what team logo?

Another high school congratulation that I don't know whether to take seriously or not...

Looked up his bio at William and Mary. He's their runningbacks coach (link) and yes, he has a connection to Matt Rhule. He was with him at Temple for a year (2016).

Peetz was expected to be the runningback coach so I'd again guess this guy would be an assistant or a QC guy or something.

If this is accurate, I'm thinking of researching what team holds the record for largest coaching staff in NFL history.

Peetz is confirmed to be back by Person

Control over his staff was a big reason he turned down the Jets last year. I have to think it was discussed with Tepper. Tepper seems the kind of guy to say something like 'you bring in whoever you want, and I'll judge you on the results.'

Senior Bowl practices also serve as job fairs. Makes me wonder if Rhule could be looking around for some of our unfilled spots.

I like the approach of leaving no stone unturned.  Now if they could just find a replacement for Hurney.
