Well and the proof will be in the pudding in a couple of years.

maybe we all stop watching football because we go 1-16, 5-11, 7-9 the next 3 seasons while the Redskins go deep in the playoffs the next 3 years.... 

maybe Tom Clancy’s Sum of all Fears happens and there isn’t a Washington DC anymore ala Iran.

maybe there’s a statue memorial at a giant hole in the ground and people say “Persians used to live here”

maybe both our teams continue to suck.

or maybe we see long term success finally.

its most likely we will be watching Dallas have the early success since they have a great roster of talent and new coaches while we all sit reserved watching our 7-9 season next year.

You should know by now that frash is, at the very least, related to David Gettleman and therefore hates Smitty as much as any of the haters do.

That said, frash has always been, and still is, one of my more favorite posters on the Huddle.

I think he honestly might be related to Dave.

All circular arguments aside I don't have anything against him. We've suffered and witnessed the same depressing poo from this team over the years so we both have the same wants mostly all past shellackings aside.

I just don't understand whatsoever this sudden need to defend Rivera now. I wonder how RagingBull (remember that username?) felt watching Steve Smith single handedly destroy Ron Rivera's defense in that first game against the Panthers after he went to Baltimore? Might be time to dust off some old posts from that time period and see what's what.
