Assistant HC/QB coach?  With OC spoken for, I doubt these guys would interview for just a positions coaching gig.  It doesn't make sense when the could land a more lucrative role based off their prior experience.

They might sense that this is a good place to learn the RPO and do what they do best which is develop a quarterback. If Tepper pays well it is a great place to hang out since Rhule supposedly doesn't fire his assistants.

I suspect McAdoo will be the guy, especially if Coughlin is controlling part of this. I wonder how much say Tom has currently, that no one is talking about?

Thought the same thing.

Both are currently unemployed.

Question for anyone else who remembers...

Outside of the offensive coordinator interviews where he eventually hired Mike Shula, did Ron Rivera ever interview more than one candidate for an assistant position?

If he did, I've forgotten it.

Didn't Rhule say he doesn't believe in firing assistant coaches?

I read that Sean Ryan, Detroit guy, will stay put in Detroit.

I saw that on a couple of Lions sites, but I don't know if they're going off a report or if they're just assuming it because we hired somebody else.

With that said, the fact that we've not only hired an OC but are also interviewing two other people for the QB coach job would make me think they're probably right.

He has coached runningbacks and receivers before but still...
