I’m not even really sure how the Titans have won the 2 games so far and have been controlling this one easily. Yes Henry is great but they’ve had zero passing game and while Tannehill has been solid there so far this stretch, he’s still Ryan Tannehill... Their DL isn’t dominant, maybe slightly above average. Their LBs are average and their corners are below average. Safety group is great for sure, but overall D isn’t hat good. On paper it just doesn’t add up at all, but they’ve just been rolling. I’d be shocked if they win today but I was also shocked they beat the Pats and then the Ravens so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. Still think Mahomes will turn it on and put up 40+ but we’ll see...

If the Titans just had a decent starter at QB they'd be ridiculous. Give them a Seriously, put a Kirk Cousins level QB on this team and damn...

Mahomes won’t get rattled like Lamar did but wow what a start from TEN.

We know that for damn sure after last week, but unlike last week, they aren't up against one of the worst defenses in the league in this one. Unfortunately for the Chiefs they have one of the worst defenses in the league themselves.

I don’t know... There’s something to be said about rallying behind a guy who no one believes in like Tannehill. Look at the Eagles and Foles. That guy has never been more than a backup except for a 4 game stretch when nobody believed in them after MVP front runner Wentz went down. I honestly don’t think the Eagles would’ve won that SB with Wentz healthy, even though he is way better than Foles when healthy. Sometimes magical runs like this just happen.

Titans are a window into good coaching, unlike in Carolina where good players carried poo coaches to occasional playoff runs.

Yes Texans are a worse D than Tennessee, but the Titans D really is not that great. Average at best. Mahomes lit them up in the regular season despite being hurt.

And that second part just isn’t true. Chiefs D has been great this year, much better than past years. 7th in points allowed, 17th in yards allowed (and consider how much their D is on the field because of how their offense scores with big plays quickly, not a ton of sustained drives with many plays run)...

They are eerily similar to the Jags a few years ago. Nobody would say that Marrone is a great coach. Other than 2 playoff games so far, Vrabel hasn’t shown anything to say he is a great coach. Let’s see how they fare from here.

Sammy Watkins has disappeared this year

It really is crazy. He was dominating early in the year and since Mahomes came back from injury you almost forget the guy even plays for the Chiefs...

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
