Uneducated people only think about THEIR rights right NOW. Educated people understand that just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you SHOULD.

Being "Educated" has nothing to do with it.  Different parts of the country have different value systems.  Southerners tend to place a higher value on personal freedom than other parts of the country.  There are plenty of "uneducated" people in other parts of the country who are fully willing to stay inside for however long the government tells them to.  Its not because of their education level, its because of their value system.

How much time have you spent outside the south? I grew up in the south. Spent the first 24 years of my life in the south. I have since lived in CO. I've traveled to 45 of the 50 states. Honestly, I don't think the south is nearly as unique in this regard as you might think.

I grew up in the south, and spent 14 of the first 17 years of my life in the south, then 10 years in the Midwest, then the last 10+ years back in the south.

Yeah, people in NC and Georgia are like people in every state except parts of New England and parts of California.

All of our news and other media happen to come from those parts of NE and Cali so it just seems like we’re different.

Who's going to be able to afford it when you're unemployed?   If it's part of an infrastructure package sure.  But broadband expansion is way down on the list of things this country needs right now.

I think it  ought to be free.  Support it with some sort of tax just like roads/bridges etc.  Maybe a small tax on internet sales or advertising  or the like.

When people say "California" what they're really talking about coastal California from San Francisco south through San Diego. I think a lot of people would be shocked by what they'd find in California outside of that relatively small geographical area.

We’re gonna need UBI and massive socialist programs to actually help people just survive but meanwhile Las Vegas mayor on cnn is talking about opening up the casinos and how America should just open everything up and if some places become hot spots, it’s that establishments fault and then let the free market figure it out. Can’t make this poo up.

I saw that on PBS newshour last night.  Mayor of LV is a fuging idiot.  they asked her how they could social distance a casino and she basically replied " I don't know its up to them to figure it out "

Yep, that state votes republican 40/60. That 60% is just so consistent that the state is always blue. But yeah, it’s not what people think. PA is the same.

Yeah, if you go to SF or LA or Orange County or San Diego, it's gonna fit the stereotype. Outside of those areas.... eh, not so much.

The governor of PA said he's thinking about opening the state up in sections, with the most rural areas opening up first.

    • Yep. It was an obvious red flag that a lot of people ignored. The results/scores in preseason don’t matter, but individual performance very much does and individually, we looked like the least talented team in the league and it carried over.
    • Sorry, but in 2015, we didn’t look like poo to the extent of 2023. People who said it’s just preseason were completely wrong. Simple as that. 2015 was a veteran lead team. It was Cam’s 5th year and Luke’s 4th. Even our OL was 80% the same (added Oher) as the great run to finish 2014 with a playoff win. That year can be labeled as preseason doesn’t matter because I’m sure we rested vets and well, Ron/Mike weren’t putting in special plays, etc. I absolutely don’t recall a bunch of us saying that Turner was getting killed on one on ones or that Luke was completely out of position or that Norman was hurt again but probably fine. The only thing that was right about the 2023 preseason is that the minority of us who saw it, were correct that we A) should have been making Young and others play 100% of the reps as there was nothing to hide and B) the preseason means nothing was a bunch of BS trying to stay optimistic when it was obvious that we had way less good talent than the rest of the NFL.
    • You are telling me Paul Maurice is a better coach than Rod??? Yes!!!  It’s because he plays a better system and has a better goalie.   Our system sucks in playoffs and he refuses to roll with Koochie. Dallas cowboys level poo
