Meh, Fauci has been there forever and would have been crafting the same policy if the pandemic had happened to Clinton, Bush, Obama and now Trump.  The cheerleading would have been different, but the policy pretty much the same.  For all of Trumps blabbering, they pretty much stuck w what Fauci and Birks told them to do.  Probably as much as the other guys would have done

The reason I dont believe this is the case is that Trump was calling it a hoax and didn't take it seriously. I haven't seen anything from Fauci that seems he has never taking it seriously and never called it a hoax. Trump should have listened to his advisors. But as usual he thinks he is smarter than everyone else. It cost all of us.

Actually, Trump did not call the virus a hoax.  Late nighters and Twitter will lead you to believe that.  Washpo and others agree

The virus that has devided this country is Trump. Not Covid 19

Things were a bit divided before Trump.  I would say Clinton years are were it started getting past the point of civility

This is true. I can not think of one friend or family that has changed in 20+ years. They all know I avoid the topic best I can, cause its pointless if your going to defend wrong. This 19 virus is just another tool being used to further divide the two groups. I swear it feels like this.....just the whole country is 50/50 and its like worst thing happening.  Its like some group years ago wanted to destroy USA and started a plan. Its working.

I think most are in the middle but lean one way or another.  We just aren't very vocal about politics.

It's the 80/20 thing.  80% of the country are pretty decent, middle of the road folks, no matter their political leanings.

As I said earlier, this is probably not the place for me to debate you about gun toting racists

You are using your real account and he is using a troll account.  I think that is reason enough not to debate anything with him.

Very true.  Personally I like to think when it comes to politics there is/are 20% on each side.  You have 20% left and 20% right and then 60% of people fall in various places inbetween.

Same account since I joined years and years ago.  I don't "block" people or whatever.  Just don't go to TB anymore.  They just wait on Bull to drop in and it is like a piranha attack.

They no longer exchange opinions, only insults.....and death wishes.  Anyway, back to the virus.  Here is cool mask.

This thread is very close to getting locked for good at this point. It's virtually devoid of productive conversation and has devolved into pure political sniping. Knock it the fug off.

No doubt came to read about some insight. Leaving wishing I had a gun with one bullet.

    • I'm happy with TMac, but Tyler Warren was last season's Tyler Linderbaum for me in that he was at a position that wasn't one of the five pillars but he was the best player at his position AND one of the top talents in the draft. I cannot fuging wait for the Panthers to start winning again so that those guys fall to us like they seem to for teams like Baltimore & Philadelphia.
    • Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest.   Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team.   Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more.   Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
