I am liking the picks so far, def scratching my head at giving our 5tth away with all the holes but it is what it is.  At some point, hopefully the 4rth and beyond we start loading up on oline prospects.  This is getting crazy if we go defense again.  We will be kicking the can down the road too far.   I say roll the dice with Biadasz if he is there.  Let him play guard and move him over to c in 2021.  It looks like for 2021 we will have a new, LT, (possible LG), center, RG, and I am assuming we resign moton but who knows.  That is a lot of turnover again on the offensive side.  And I am 94% sure we are going qb at the top of the next draft so he will be waiting in the wings for when (if) we starting losing in 2021

Yeah, if you look at our current OL, it's scary inside the tackles right now.

very least gives us a super talented nickle CB.

we have met with him numerous times i think

I dont know man, I guess I am a little sour on short corners from small schools.  I get that he is scrappy but I would just rather have more line depth than a guy that may develop into a slot corner.

I’d rather have Bryce Hall at corner - big and physical with the skills to develop into a press CB.

also like Lynch and Ismael.  Davis-Gaither would also be a great pick here.  I’m an App State guy and watched him play a lot...fast, smart, great instincts, and has a ton of heart

I do not know why Hall has not been taken, to be honest---I had a third round grade on him--then I heard something about an injury and sorta forgot about him.  He is 6-1, I think. As I said earlier, a Bradberry-type CB.  Zone.  Are we running a lot of Zone?  If not, I would not draft him, but if so-why not?

Any thoughts on Harrison Bryant TE FAU

He is a player---poor man's Olsen (prolly not fair to either), but he can block and catch--a 2 dimensional TE.  I am interested to see what we do at TE.

I am guessing that we are set.

that doesnt solve anything

They (supposedly) had 2 contacts with him.   The only reason I predicted that we will draft him.  He has some skills--plays larger? in that he hits and is aggressive.

Ismael has experience at G and C.  Note that he is not a bulldozer, but he stays on his blocks and has tremendous feet.  Takes good angles (highlight reel?).

I am not sure how serious they think we need C---but this player fills several depth needs and could start in the future.

Man crushing on him here.

I look at day 3 like this-, go after players with high upside and a real chance to make your bench better.

By the way, I am expecting a bumper crop of undrafted free agents tonight.  We have been working the bottom pretty hard.  (not dirty)

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
