Hey what about that one time we taught we were gonna sign Hakeem Nicks. Charlotte native, just left the Giants and we needed a WR. I think this was also Gettleman's first offeseason here so him being a former Giants FO personnel made it even more believable. The 2 things I remember is either he came to Charlotte to visit family, or we really did bring him in but Gettleman said something and because of that Nicks signed with the Colts. What really happened here?

It just makes me wonder if there were other motives that aren't known as to why the Panthers decided to move on from Cam basically overnight.

Only Pepper story I had was one of my former friends sat in on a blunt passing session with Pep at a UNC party. It was the highlight of his life and never stopped talking years later.
