A crappy oline. A green first time OC who has never called plays.  A qb that hasnt played more than 5 games in years. A rb due to miss time.

Let's pump the brakes on hyping this offense just yet no matter how bad rhule hates losing.

Seriously, and ignore the fact the defense won’t stop anyone. Lol.

Teddy gets rid of the ball a whole lot quicker than any QB last year. That in itself will help the offensive line tremendously. If Okung is even a mediocre tackle we may have average OL performance this year.

A lot of ifs with the offensive line. CMAC was a beast last year, and the defense was atrocious that equated to 5 wins. CMAC, Bridgewater and the offense should be solid, issues is, the defense is much, much, worse. So, 2-5 wins is the best case scenario this year. Which is great, because a QB like TL or Fields is much needed going forward.

Lol. The defense is literally the youngest in the NFL the past ten years. That’s a fact. If he thinks we’re winning starting 5 Rookies on defense, I can go ahead and sell him some beach front property in Montana. Again, anyone thinking this team will be good is the biggest and dumbest homer.

Young does not equal bad. We have a stout line and that was the story for our 2013 defense as well. I think even with the loss of Luke in the LB position with a strong line the LBs won’t have so much pressure and with the new coach staff I see a priority based on speed and I am hopeful that the scheme compliments the players. Our LBs and DBs in all their age last year were less than impressive anyways. I can only see a trend upwards, and plenty reason to believe this is a hungry team. Are we KC good? No, but do I think we can hang with the division and compete for wins? Absolutely.

The o-line scares me. Paradis is a flop. Okung has one foot in one foot in retirement, the other in the hospital. We lost our power with Turner trade.

The secondary scares me as well. Losing Bradberry means we don't have anyone who can match up with a #1 WR looking to beast on us.

The d-line isn't too bad, but if KK is as bad as he's been since getting paid, then don't expect too much. Burns is undersized and Brown is a run stopper, so the pass rush may be a problem.

The LB situation looks grim on paper, but the jury is still out.

I thin it will be fun to watch TB if doesn't get murdered behind this line.

We have such a strange WR corps. Should be interesting.

We're all just hoping beyond hope that CMC can stay healthy to give us something to be excited about. Pleeeease stay healthy CMC.

A stout line? Hahahaha. Yeah, you’re a homer. The line isn’t stout, the LB’s are the worst in football, and debatably the same for the secondary. But yeah man. You can keep up that blind homerism routine.

You think this defense, our cornerbacks in particular, can hang with the Saints, Tampa and the Falcons?  Okeydokey brother, you have a good day because this is not even remotely based in real life.

I haven’t insulted your point of view at all. Are you always such a little bitch?

Even season ticket holders think we will suck. So I’m not so sure they even care if he’s healthy or not.

For anyone who is actually planning on watching all the games this season please cross your fingers that CMC can stay healthy. I always watch every Panthers game and I need something to keep me going. CMC is lightning in a bottle.

My point of view is realistic with expectations. Your point of view is like comparing Justin Fields to Patrick Mahomes. That’s just an awful comparison. Same with your opinion on this team. It’s not good, or realistic for that matter.

Some of y’all are seriously pathetic. Negative as hell. Who cares you might be right there’s a lot of reasons the team might look bad this year. But there’s a lot of things to be excited about too. I choose to focus on the good stuff and I’m a “blind homer.”

One thing is for certain. Nobody on the team is tanking intentionally.

I do too. But I’m legit hoping we finish with 2 wins tops. With the younger players staying healthy and getting a ton of PT.

    • After Bountygate and the information that came out on the Saints owners shielding pedophile priests in New Orleans it will forever be the Saints numero uno for me. FUG THE SAINTS! I hope this is just the beginning of a long term period of suffering for that shitty organization run by even shittier human beings. #2.Pats/Belicheat #3. Falcons (Mike Vick years then Matt Ryan/Julio running it up) Ryan pooping his pants and 28-3 def makes my bad days always better just thinking of those. #4 Pretty much any franchise fan base thats obnoxious Steelers, Eagles, Bills, Jets, Giants, Cowboys, etc.
    • Thank God DM used that #8 pick on a bona fide WR1 and not some bum pass rushing prospect like Stewart or someone else. I believe Tet is legit WR1 material and going forward will be our long term answer at that position since we desperately were in need of one once they traded away DJ Moore.  Tet could possibly end up even being better long term than someone who I respect a ton as a WR in Moore. Evans has been a pleasant surprise and great TE/FB depth piece going forward who could make the most of his opportunities.  Any good offense worth a damn in the NFL has 3 TEs that can do multiple things and being scared by Ian Thomas play for years should makes us all appreciate what Evans is quietly doing as a ROOKIE at one of the hardest positions to learn at the pro level.  Keep cooking DM. This season is not over obviously but seeing some growth out of young talent finally is a breathe of fresh fuggin air for once.
    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
