You can be a fan of Cam AND stop shitting on our new quarterback or you really arent a panther fan you are a Cam fan.  And I hate to break it to you but Cam is no Jordan dude.

Also, who said Cam was a Jordan? No one is Jordan. He still has a gang of fans no matter your feelings towards him.

These are the shots y’all expect to be able to take at Cam and no one say anything. It was like that while he was here, and when people called it out, it was those who called it out that got the backlash. After today’s post, and who defended it, it’s not a surprise though

And nothing Teddy did today lead me to believe he is the franchise. We will see what’s up at the end of this season.

Alright so I guess I’ll ask then what exactly does Teddy have to do to show to you he can be THAT guy?

From where I’m sitting, he led an offense to 30 points and didn’t even get to throw the ball once on that second to last drive (5 running plays). There were a couple plays he was looking to go deep but the pocket collapsed and went for a run and picked up positive yards . Teddy has never played in a game with Moore (who failed to show up today) and Samuel (who is overrated as hell around here). The one guy he does have a little chemistry with went for 115 and a score. Rhule and Brady were both making their NFL debuts. All things considered Teddy played excellent imo.

Moore failed to show up? lol.

You can ask what you want. Hell show me he’s the guy after a full seasons of work proves he’s capable. The guy y’all are in here talking about, Cam, showed that and more.

I know in today’s society, people will accept any ole thing and anybody that tells them something they like, but I want proof. That proof will need to be consistent and long standing.

The stats? He threw for 155 yards on 19 attempts and no touchdowns. How many games is that stat line from your QB going to get you the win? They also ran him 15 times. I couldn’t even imagine the threads had the Panthers ran him 15 times today given his injury history last season.

Like you said, I guess we’ll see but I’m under the belief that Cam’s shoulder is 100% damaged goods and he did nothing today to make me think otherwise

Lamar Jackson had an MVP level season last year.

Cam legit wasn’t better today man, everything he threw was short and it was for a reason. The Dolphins are also a worse team than the Raiders. Maybe as the season progresses some of you will see just how shot Cam’s shoulder is and why they chose to move on.

Not really sure how anyone can hate on Teddy today. You could nitpick two or three throws but he moved the ball well and showed that he can lead a team. 30 points is good enough to win on most Sundays.

I'm not sure how we can objectively compare Cam and Teddys single games, tbh, but I do think Cams game as slightly better overall, maybe just because I think he had so much more to prove. But its just one game...

Cam had a very strong game and I think Teddy was fine.  I think Cam proved more today, but I wouldn't be surprised if end of season Teddy has a better statical year.  And the defenses on the two teams couldn't have played more differently today, making all of this hard.

And when he needed to throw the ball in the playoffs? What happened...?

He had a bad game, like Peyton Manning used to have up until he won his first championship. Peyton took awhile to win one though, and I’m sure you wouldn’t have questioned Peyton

Moore dropped 3 balls he needs to catch and took a dumb penalty. Not sure how much more proof on that you need.

Clearly this is more about people bashing Cam for you than anything else. I of all people defended Cam more than just about anyone tbh around this cesspool of a place over the years so don’t come at me with that crap. I’m literally asking you what Teddy needs to do to show you because I’m genuinely curious.

I was also able to make peace with the Cam release because I know how he chose to handle his shoulder injury. I defended that dude to no end and I’m not even bashing him right now. All I said was that I think (and so do the Panthers) that his shoulder is toast. Cam and McDaniels did nothing today to make me think otherwise, THATS ALL

It’s one game. What do you mean what proof do I need. Kyle Allen had a good few games, and people on here were singing his praises and taking shots at Cam then. Only to be wrong in the end, lol.

He does it for a season, then I’m a fan. Simple.

I also don’t care if you defended Cam yesterday or 10 years ago. I’ve defended multiple players on this board, and while Cam is my favorite player, if I say something worth defending, my post history shows I have no problems doing that. lol at its only about the bashing of Cam.

We’ll see how Cam does and Teddy does. At the end, lets compare

It’s no different than folks shytting on Brandon Lafell while he was here.

Except Brandon Lafell was generally unremarkable here and sometimes a detriment to the team? He had more bad games than good and the most I saw him compared to was Moose?

Teddy has had one game here. And is being compared to Cam and held to that marker. Its a lot different.
