Whitehead is terrible.. But Boston has made some plays and is definitely the leader of the surprisingly solid secondary and defense.. 

Ppl love to hate on a player when they don't understand how the position is supposed to be played... But reality is he is the oldest and most experienced member in a hurt and very young secondary and he is doing a solid job holding them together..

As much as I want us to bring in a linebacker, I don't think it's in Rhule's playbook to do so--att least this year. He wants to show people that he believes in them and he wants his guys.

Super cliché but I did spend 13 year's playing the postion.

Some of what you said is true however it doesn't make up for his amazing diving tackles and bad angles, he is usually in the right position.

He may be holding them together pre-snap, but post-snap he's the glaring weak link.

Here we go fake ass bravado from a nobody.. I don't care what credital you make up.. Your opinion doesn't matter to me.. I can see with my own eyes that a group that was supposed to be the worst in the league is holding up.. And some credit must go to the unquestioned leader of that unit.. Plus he is making plays.. He blew up a RB and TE screen today.
