I dont know if 8-8 gets you into the playoffs in the NFC this year. The bad vs good is lopsided this year.  I think the only less than 10 win team to get in this year will be out of the East.

Part of me says save him for later. Part of me says you play great players when they are available, no matter what.

Rain is supposed to move out before the game. Field is one of the best draining in the league. Should not be a factor.

I would consider working him in slowly.  Maybe give him 5-10 snaps this week, just to get him some work.

Yep. I was thinking that earlier today. Unless it's hurricane rain, the field will be fine. 

I believe he'll play tomorrow.

8-8 definitely doesn't get you into the playoffs in the NFC. You probably have three 10 win teams in the NFC West and San Francisco can push for close to that as well if they stop getting injured.

It's far from unheard of for 6-2 to be followed by 2-6.... Have to let it play out.
