Seeing Walker makes me see Teddy's limitations too

Sure, Walker doesn't seem to have the split-second processing or the decision-making that Bridgewater has (not that I think that Teddy has been sterling in his decision making this season), but his arm, athleticism and more of a seeming willingness to push the ball down field was refreshing. Basically, it makes me yearn for a superior combination of the two, if I'm being totally honest.

I appreciate your honesty

Surprisingly the defense won us the game today.

I see your point for sure but Teddy ain’t throwing 2 picks in the end zone either. If we could combine his athleticism with Teddy’s consistency we might be on to something.

Maybe this will make Teddy realize we have DJ Moore out there and we can afford to throw it to him more frequently and push the ball deep.

Thing is I don't want to get too excited for Walker, because of Allen. Also no teams have film on Walker and the Lions are terrible and their offense is gutted. If Cook doesn't get injured against the Cowboys I could see us having a harder time against the Vikings next week. Don't know if Walker can be a starter, gonna currently lean no, but yeah we still need a QB. But this win is gonna screw with out draft position. But it is what it is.

I say keep starting PJ.  Just as Brady tries to mask Teddy's deficiencies between the 20s, Brady can mask PJ's inside of them.  PJ appears to be the far superior QB between the 10s...  I'd rather have that guy who has the chance to LEAD a receiver into a TD or big gain on a deep pass versus the guy who won't even attempt that pass or underthrows them.

I could argue it either way. We left a lot of points on the board off those two turnovers. He cleans those up and I’m on board.

    • Not sure I completely agree but it's a pretty accurate list
    • If Reich or Fitterer were still around I think the need to extend Young because of what he cost would be stronger.  And yeah Morgan was Fit's right hand when the call was made but there an equal chance that Dan will see it as a chance to move on from Fit and shake off that stink. Holding out some hope that 3 years and clear eyes will allow for an honest appraisal that Young just aint the guy
    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
