Because the coaches are bad and have no improved at all this season. In fact they regressed pretty horribly.

They are literally coaching 5 Rookies on defense, trash players in Boston and Whitehead, a poo QB, and no CMC for 10 games. But it’s the coaches fault? They won 4 games, when they were predicted to win 2, and have been in every game besides Tampa. And shut down Detroit with Walker at QB. LOLZ. Keep it up boss. Your energy is clearly in the right place. LOLZZZZZZZZZ

Trey Lance or Zach Wilson starting to feel inevitable. Likely will have our choice of the two.

Do you really want the third best QB in the Draft with a top 10 pick?

Back the truck up to the NYJ and pick Lawrence or go home.

The final pass wasn't a great decision but if you stay objective you can certainly reason it. Teddy was feeling pressure the entire drive, the deeper receivers were covered and you're passing it to your most dynamic player in the open field where he just has to break 1 tackle to make a first down. If Teddy held onto it waiting for someone to get open past the sticks and got sacked, everyone would be throwing their arms up even worse. Crappy way for the game to end but it is what it is. I figure the consensus tankers should be rejoicing right now.

Ya... you just keep focusing on teddy and not paying attention to the rest of the team. Lets see how that works out for you.

Tony Romo: "I like Tua throwing that ball into traffic. It sounds weird but a lot of times in these situations you just see checkdown, checkdown, game over."

That cuts deep.

PJ had the same checkdown issues against one of the worst teams in football. Its a scheme thing especially on that last play.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
