Trade Steve Smith

Trade away the most explosive WR in the game, just because he desires smarter play calling that will actually get him involved in the game, and accurate balls thrown his way.

Makes sense to me.

/end sarcasm

DeSean Jackson would like to know when Steve Smith will be done with the "most explosive" WR in the league title.

he turned into a whiney punk who I don't want on my team. I say trade his ass for a first round pick.

yeah, why is everyone jumping all over him this week? He has been the best part of this team since he got here and definitely deserves the ball more. Did everyone else not see the triple coverage catch from Sunday? Steve Smith can say whatever he wants, hes amazing and a player you HAVE to have on your team.

He is the face of the franchise (IMO) and to be honest, if he's gone, then the Panthers are a completely different team.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
