Come Spring, Fox Sports Carolinas will be no more - Hornets and Canes games will be on Bally Sports South. TBD on YouTubeTV and Hulu Live.

This might be a good thing. Might give YTTV and Hulu people a chance to watch again. Because Sinclair was trying to raise the poo out of their prices.

However, YTTV and Hulu are barely making profits on this poo as of right now. So, we'll see.

Well, I am pretty sure Sinclair is still driving this bus, and I think they ultimately control whether Hulu or YTTV get these channels. I think Sinclair has made the decision to rebrand. There's a good chance that the rules stay the same, and the name is the only thing changing.

I will be a bit ticked if YTTV gets access to these channels now, though, as I just signed a 2 year agreement with AT&T TV.

Yeah, I'm a Directv guy and I don't want to miss games.

I am not too pleased with the quality of AT&T TV. Its all done over WiFi now. No cable of any kind except the HDMI from the box to the TV itself. And I've got a fiber connection with 250/300 MBPS over wifi. YTTV had much better quality over stream.

Yeah, I love YTTV. Can't get rid of it. I am a bit pissed they got rid of the local fox channels though.

fug bally let me tell you once they put the hurricanes and the hornets on the same channel as the braves, hawks, Grizzlies, and predators, along with other college sports its gonna put the squeeze on how many opportunities the hurricanes and hornets actually get their games on that channel. Bally can kiss my ass I bet they didnt do that to fox sports detroit or fox sports Arizona.

Looking at the map, I would guess that the Hurricanes/Hornets will be on Bally Sports South and the other teams will be on Bally Sports Southeast. It’s kinda like right now we have FS Carolinas but cannot see Braves games.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
